Just dropping by to remind everybody that this was never happening. After the end of S1, which was a huge success for ENA, the producers or the station executives themselves (I'm not sure) expressed that they would love S2 to happen. No lead was asked at that point about the possibility of returning. When PEB was interviewed by the media, she said that the producers didn't ask her about it. KTO of course joined military in the meantime. As of now, I haven't seen any official news that this is actually in works.
Is it really so difficult to be rich and famous but live a compassionate, honest, kind - normal life, without doing unnecessary harm to anyone? It's crazy to me that in South Korea, where you can get hate for the tiniest scandal - marrying somebody, partying, smoking a joint - some people feel powerful and brazen enough to date a 15 year old for many many years and nobody in the industry even bats an eye and it doesn't get out. It's just unbelievable. Is it so hard to date adults? Not that I was ever a fan of KSH, but after this and Neil Gaiman situation, I honestly will try to never believe in an famous person's public image. But with kactors it's just the more striking seeing how pure and innocent the leads are, especially in romcoms. That's why I will aleays try to advocate for more believable leads, who are not the purest of the pure at the age of 35 or some other bullshit. It just leaves all of us brainwashed.
This might not be the right place to say this but I am going to anyway. I am curious why there are no articles…
I'm not into conspiracy theories, but my guess would be that MDL receives some compensation for D+ and Netflix dramas' promotion (as other platforms' dramas are pretty overlooked in comparison, in terms of article coverage). So the article won't be out until KSH is still involved in Knock Off production. I wish it was because MDL is waiting for the whole story to come out, but with some other scandals it wasn't really the case -,-
Oh this show is about to go down..💀 Kim Sae Ron's aunt revealed that the person who was in the same car with…
1. It apparently wasn't confirmed by her aunt, it's a rumor spread by cnetz. https://x.com/hallyuforums/status/1899844486781702177 2. He attended her funeral, unlike KSH. 3. Even if he was the passenger, he was not responsible for what happened as he was not the driver. Of course he should not let a drunk person drive, but if I fuck up as a driver, it's my responsibility. So if they covered his involvement as a passenger, I get why - this would ruin his career for no good reason, considering knetz' wrath even over minor offences.
I don't know whether he's a good person or if I would like him if I ever met him personally. But this is the case with all actors and idols. Especially that fame and money has big influence on anyone. I really hope that any wrongdoings (true bad deeds not an unintended naked reflection in a toy or bullshit of that sort lol) will see the light of day, but I'm not sure. For now, let's not judge people without evidence and let's not cancel people for minor mistakes (not referring to DUI but being a passenger).
i like the two together. It gave office enemies to lovers but I'm on episode 2 and they're already getting along…
I feel like this is more like friends to lovers actually, with how well they get each other so early on. Kdramas really don't do enemies to lovers very well, the enemies phase is short and the transition to lovers is too cutesy and lacks fire in most cases. Compared to my favourite enemies to lovers (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Veronica Mars) I really can't find a kdrama that compares.
I really wish we had 16 eps for this one, cause I agree with everyone saying we could have used a bit more space…
The last time I felt this betrayed with an unnecessary and painful breakup in an ongoing drama was with Extraordinary Attorney Woo ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ this is exactly why I refrain from watching ongoing dramas ðŸ˜
I really wish we had 16 eps for this one, cause I agree with everyone saying we could have used a bit more space between all major events. I mean, it's too much leaving us with such a sad, sad cliffhanger. I dunno, it's really taking a toll on me. I fear we will never go back to 16 eps being the standard again. It really worked for romance, of course there was some filler but it was a very needed filler usually ðŸ˜
Who would get mad if the rest of the episodes were as cute and funny as ep 8? I REPEAT, WHAT PSYCHO WOULD GET MAD??? I GO TO COSTUME CDRAMAS FOR MY DOSE OF ANGST, LEAVE MY ROMCOMS FREE FROM IT!! Give me quarrels over some day-to-day stuff at most!
So they are really going for the angsty, sad route with the reveal instead of comedic angry-but-can't-stay-apart…
"I'm sorry... could you take it easy on me" I'm actually crying ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ someone wake me up when the angst ends, I didn't come here to have my heart broken for an entire week ;_;
Some people think that putting links or even names of the sites in MDL comments will make the authorities find them. As if the authorities go through MDL? And wouldn't know how to open a spoiler? And there are no better ways to find such websites? So there are no rules, just some irrational beliefs.
So they are really going for the angsty, sad route with the reveal instead of comedic angry-but-can't-stay-apart route, I'm so disappointed 😠so in the end it's treated no different from other dramas... as if one of them took part in the other's parents death or sth.
Sigh. I don't know if I can watch the ML being sad AGAIN, girl, give him a break... he has to pursue the FL one more time -,- when they were both overreacting those 15 years ago
I don't care about grandma - she is just a decoration to the show made by script writers. If he really liked what…
He wants some sort of connection to people which is hard to do when he's very closed, due to his upbringing (no parents) and what happened with Strawberry in ep 1. He has no one to rely on. He also carries incredible guilt. I'm sure that he likes being rich, no question about that, but I'm also sure that with the support of right people, close people, in the end he will choose his passions and relationships over being chaebol.
1. I love that we're getting FL's father as a counterweight for that old hag. His scene with FL in ep 7 is the only one I shed tears at so far. He can be goofy but is so supportive, I love his character and the actor choice. 2. I am 100% sure that the ML will reveal his secrets on his own terms and that will be his character development. I actually really liked when FL asked him if she will be his secret as well in ep 7. Made him think and come to the right conclusions! 3. The more I watch this show the more I respect FL. She can be harsh but she will take no shit from ANYONE. Whether it be her boss, her partner, whatever - she will stand up for herself and for injustice overall. This is very fresh and much needed! A very good addition to ML who took blame his entire life too. 4. FL is a more mature character than ML but still gets some character development in terms of her hiding her pain and not relying on anyone. Love love how she decided to pursue ML after talking to her dad and realising ML's full support to her. Shows that we do search for a partner similar to our parents after all 🤣 I hope we'll get at least one more scene when she opens to ML and leans on him. Love how both of them are each other's support. 5. Granny was 100% as shitty to ML's father as she is to ML. I'm sure he had to forget about his hobbies as well. Vile woman, hope she'll end up alone.
