I genuinely do not understand why they keep playing down and making a fool out of the other NIS agents?
At this point the team should be disbanded, haven't seen someone as incompetent as them for a long time. It's unfortunately a bad case of somebody deciding that a kdrama needs comic relief.... I mean I can get behind funny characters but they have no plot other than being fools.
GPA rigging is the most stupid idea ever. Anyone can check their test after the scores (at least in my country) and figure out that something is wrong. Also students talk to each other about their results after the test for comparison reasons. I think test leaking to the rich students would make more sense (but yeah, Ye Na couldn't be as easily kept in the dark).
What? Filming for WLGYT finished ages ago. He even filmed Good Boy in the meantime.
Nah I personally don't think that PBG would ever need to make a comeback in a supporting role to get bigger ones... I think he took it cause it's such a high-profile drama, besides a lot of people tuned in only for him.
That is called gaining weight?!I can forsee this becoming controversial..
Right? But maybe more with international audiences. Perhaps knetz will be more okay with it? I have very little hope that they will deal with the subject with the sensitivity it required. For a starter, acknowledging that it's okay to want to be healthier or lose weight, but that weight loss doesn't necessarily equal health gain...
With 15 years of age difference between the actors, she is his "first love" and will "reappear in front of him again after several years"? If they met "now" in the drama's timeline and fell in love, then sure, I guess, but they either want us to believe that: 1. He fell in love for the first time when he was 45ish and she was 30ish, or that 2. He fell in love with her when she was 20ish and he was 35ish. I dunno which one is worse, the one where they get together when she is very young, or the one when they want us to believe that he met his first love as a >40 yo. Like come on. Or they will try to make her older and him younger? I can get behind some age shenanigans with kdramas (like with My Dearest Nemesis where both actors play roles 7 years older than them, I mean - I don't completely buy it but fine I guess), but only to some extent...
Man I dunno, I love the leads but this is such a sensitive subject... I mean, I have no problem with promoting healthy lifestyle, I even have no problem with transformation cliches in kdramas, but knowing that korean dieting culture doesn't have much to do with health... I'm worried.
I really wish they went a different route of the ML proving the grandma wrong. For example someone who knows him would hire him in a competitor company (together with FL) and they would transfer all their strategies and contacts (including milk lady) to the competitor (of course as much as the law allows). It would require a bit of a time skip I think but that would really make grandma realise that shit, she was wrong about ML all along. I'm not too happy with how they are choosing to do this plot, cause it seems that our leads will always stay under that old hag's control and will just make her richer.
Everyone was skeptical about CHW in a role like this but Oh God people need to chill when actors are casted and…
He is the brightest point of this drama. Tbh I'm not a fan of MGY, but CHW is making it up to me - all his microexpressions in ep 10 were so adorable! And the way he started looking so cosy and comfortable in FL's house... i truly feel we see something new from him in each episode.
i feel like they're gonna pull a half ass redemption arc for this grandma, but honestly there's no redeemable…
I needed more drama in the scenes when the leads showed the grandma what a bitch she is. Now they are the ones who will have to prove themselves yet again... while grandma is doing nothing but bitching
