if you would want for both of them having no memories intact, look forward for the 5th tribulation which is their actual past love story but they kinda made it as part of tribulation since that is the only way for them to know what happen 30000 years ago without the villain ever suspecting something.. Chukong was supposed to add the anti amnesia elixir on their drink but got interrupted so they both went on that past timeline without knowing anything.. so far this is one of my most favorite tribulations.

PS: after the 5th tribulations a lot of things from the first episodes will make so much sense, that's why its totally recommended to rewatch this drama as you will notice so many parallels from the current and past 30000 years from them.

watch it.. its sooo cute.. they both are.. like I said specially on the pool game.. he actually volunteered to be thrown off when chaoyue was thr first one supposed to be thrown.. chaoyue's afraid of water too.. and then on next rounds he was faster than the lifeguards to lift her up of the water.. 😚 he also came down to the watwr even though he was not supposed to to again lift her up.. oh and also I think on a deleted scene on that he asked her about his gift to her I think if she still have it or if she's using it?.. I'm not really sure if I'm right since there's no substitles for that part.. I'm really glad they are so close even in real life, its very rare to see.. all their interviews for LYST is very entertaining to watch too..

yes they both are actually so adamant on saying they really want to work on another drama again.. have you seen the interview where the host ask if ever there's another drama what role would they do and chaoyue jokingly said siblings but xiaoding was like no, no, no, no, no, and suggesting that okay we can be siblings but not really related or biologically related or he can be an adopted child.. lol

warrior girls is available in iqiyi app and iqiyi youtube but the subtitles for part 1 ep 2 is not correct in the youtube ver. I watched it from iqiyi.. its after LY7T that's where both of them said that they filmed an emotional scene 2 times since they are not satisfied with the first one, filmed 2pm-10pm xiaoding said.. same I have downloaded all of their interviews and stuff.. 😚

yes he's indeed so attentive of her.. even on friends together, the moment where she's offering her crushed snack to all of them and they all refused even xiaoding but hearing her kinda sad that they won't try it he gave in and try it with her.. oh and also on warrior girls I mentioned above, he's much faster than the lifeguards on lifting her up from the water.. 😂 I need another drama with them seriously, we need a modern drama this time around.. well xiaoding did say of all costars he's much comfortable with chaoyue..

theory is probably because a small part of his primordial spirit is still there somewhere... so basically he activated the soul protection spell on canghai and transfer all primordial spirit of his to her to not let her die and for him to die instead.. but they are still both tied to the fate thread which can only be untied once one of the person tied into it loses all of their primordial spirit so when he loses all of his primordial spirit the thread untied itself but also remember that that thread has a small part of his primordial spirit made by him and canghai 30000 years ago so they can find each other wherever so basically it was released after being untied and maybe went to the mortal world to recuperate as a mortal just like how jinlian was about to die with his small spirit but went to the mortal world to recover. basically just like I think how DFQC was able to reincarnate using his blood/bone bracelet(?) (sorry haven't watch LBFAD yet)

and CH in the mortal world is not really having a tribulation but is just accompanying CK in recuperating in his mortal tribulations. that's why she who was he on that lifetime as maybe she's been accompanying him many tines for his recovery..

this is the most probable theory we have right now and it really makes sense.. xianxia always has this impossible moments the can be possible..

omg we're so invested to them.. have you also watched their Warrior Girls ep? Xiaoding is a guest on episode 2..and see how he pays attention to her specially in the pool game..

right, also adding to this.. if CH/XY dies again, it will just be a repeat of everything.. as chukong will probably not stop until he get her back again and again and the only way to stop the loop is for him to sacrifice himself.

he's not a character in the novel, he's a character made for the drama only to I guess follow the cliche drama thing, like they need an sml to make it more complicated things like that.. lol 😂🤮 so I'm afraid we all will have to wait on what his real deal is.. or what role is he really, but I'm pretty sure he is part of the evil side.. based on his actions already even before the tribulations 😅 I really am hoping they don't include him on the other lifetimes please.. its annoying (I've been saying this too much in the comments section, sorry for that) current lifetime will probably end 11-13 since the snowflake emoji is on that episodes based on the calendar schedule..

so basically in the drama if we're going for the right order of happenings
1st - 30000 years ago forgotten history (which will probably inserted later as 7.5 while fighting the evil)
2nd - god of war and fairy on the marriage pavillion, their real form, current real lifetime
3rd - accidental animal lifetime, tiger and boar (first tribulation) (both died)
4th - childhood lovers, fl has memories of being a fairy (2nd tribulation) (fl died first, the 1st snow death)
5th - master and disciple, ml has the memories of being a god (3rd tribulation) (ml died first)
6th - princess and general, they switch body (4th tribulation) (fl died first, 2nd snow death)
7th - chukong and xiangyun, trying to stop the evil things happening on the mortal world (don't know if they will continue with the tribulation since in the novel this was their mission to stop the punishment of seven lifetimes)
8th - fl went to mortal world to resurrect the ml by gathering his souls (fl died first, last snow death)

if we compare it to the novel its this sequence (note there is no second male lead or female on the novel and they are not doing love tribulations for the sake of ml, they are punish cause they cause so much messed on the marriage threads)
1st - god of war and fairy on the marriage pavillion, their real form current lifetime
2nd - childhood lovers, fl has memories of being a fairy (1st life punishment)
3rd - master and disciple, ml has the memories of being a god (2nd life punishment)
4th - animal, tiger and boar, where they should first discover there is an evil happening in the mortal world (3rd life punishment)
5th - princess and general, they switch body (4th life punishment)
6th - chukong and xiangyun, trying to stop the evil things happening on the mortal world (not really a punishment but a mission for both of them to be free of their seven lifetime punishment)
7th - fl went to mortal world to resurrect the ml by gathering his souls.. (ml perish from the last fight with the villain)

gosh the trauma from those snow deaths.. specially the first lifetime scarred Chukong.. 🥺

not really in terms of their love story.. 1st lifetime is the most important if its based on their feelings with each other cause in the novel both really fell in love with their mortal form during that time but just indenial.. second life is one of the links to the villain of the story.. which probably is gonna change too since stone demon is already on the 1st lifetime in the drama which is not supposed to.. 😅 but it is the lifetime where it proves that chukong has feelings for her since he sacrifice his heart for her.

he's not part of the novel, unfortunately.. he's made just for the drama ver. 😅 so we don't really know how muh they would drag the sfl meddling with their other lifes.. 🤦‍♀️

yup, they would always do this specially this drama is their most budgeted drama for now, I'm very sure they will do special package for early access, to earn back 😂 but me being poor would just watch on ummm illegal site I think.. 😅✌️

in the novel they are supposed to hate each other so much but in the drama they change it so honestly it doesn't make sense now, the act of her wanting to sabotage it just because of the princess right? its a very shallow reason to sabotage it unless she didn't want him to fix his primordial spirit.. (well her master said that their red thread can only be removed if one of them loses their primordial spirit so maybe that's her other reasoning as she doesn't wanna be tied to him?)

yes, as a novel reader it wpuld be the top one heartbreaking death scene of the story, I think they died differently on the general and princess lifetime.. 😊 let me refresh my novel memory of that.. but your welcome.. ☺️

edit: found it.. they kinda did the same I guess her dying on the snow again but I don't know what clothes she's wwearing that lifetime when she died.. the difference is male lead didn't really cried when she died on that lifetime since its their 4th lifetime already..

oh thank god you haven't read it since they actually change a lot from the novel.. I'm treating this drama as another story actually but yes the snowflake means the death of the fl on the 1st lifetime.. she died on his arms in the snow, actually the most significant death on their tribulations cause that made so much impact to the male lead. oh its actually shown a lot on the trailers too the one when he's on armored uniform and she's on the red dress.. 😊 that's supposed to be the end of the current lifetime

same.. as of now we don't really know since he's not part of the novel itself.. he's an added character for the drama ver. only, so not sure how they will drag this storyline of him being the classic obsessive sml.. but for the sfl I feel like she would give up immediately, I think she's not that obsessive yet. but seriously I might wait for this to air atleast until ep 30 if they keep on inserting that 2nd male lead.. he's frustrating already and we're just on 8 episodes.. if he comes to the next lifetimes again and again its like watching TTEOTM snake girl all over again (if you have watch that drama) 😒

i dont think so.. on the calendar schedule the snowflake emoji is on 12-13 which represents the end of the first lifetime.. if you have read the novel you would probably know what the snowflake emoji mean but basically if you watch the trailer too its the most anticipated and also the most significant death scene of the fl.. sorry I spoiled it but its already on the trailer...

the prince guy is annoying though.. very toxic and obsessed typical 2ml character.. (not even part of the novel) stone guy is actually not an sml though.. he's just there to fulfill a mission of getting love energy i guess.. but if we are refering to the novel stone guy would be the reason on why the male lead will die on 2nd life.. but right now we don't really know how the 2nd life will end since they basically change the purpose of stone guy.. 😂 he also supposed to have a wife too.. or someone he loves

true this, that's why novel readers are kinda disappointed by it.. these characters are not even on the novel itself... 😑 they seriously need to put a classic toxic obsessive sml on a story that doesn't really include one on the original.. to what? for more tension and conflict to make the story more complicated? 🤦‍♀️ as if seven lifetimes of pain is not complicated enough, well 8 if we count the forgotten memory separately..
