the chemistry was actually kinda good I'd love to see them casted in a full length series.

ok well the point is they decided to make a bl with esports theme but decided to keep it to the minimum because they know people will watch it because it's bl but how long are we gonna be stuck with half hearted series like these ? if we want bl to go mainstream they have to be ready to incorporate more elements into it and give focus to those elements just like a typical straight series would be treated. A good example is falling into your smile they did justice to both romance and esports we need bls with this kind of quality in the future something with substance not just bl and instead of the same old same old but in different settings.

Also this isn't to say you can't enjoy a bl in an esports setting when you don't love games like im sure a lot wouldn't really mind but at the same time there's also a part of audience that would love it so this is really just me voicing my disappointment for the lack of gameplay. Like there was potential we could've got something like falling into your smile but yeah.

man im disappointed as someone who loves video games and bl this was really badly executed idk what they were trying to do with this they tried to balance between romance and esports but tbh it was terrible it would've turned out better if they just gave their whole on the esports part and gave us some romance with tension instead. Its series like these that actually makes me appreciate 30 long episode chinese series where they touch all subjects giving equal depth to everything making it actually worth the watch.
