I watched this at 1.25 speed for the entire episode and even forgot I was doing so because it made *zero* difference to the pacing. As in, at no point was the pacing “too fast.” At some points when I did remember I was watching at 1.25, I had the thought, Wow, it’s actually going *slower* than this??
I don’t mind vertical format series, and this one was an enjoyable watch. Worth the time for a story with a little bit of angst and the perfect amount of fluff (but not the cringey variety). Leads were great together.

I’m always perplexed by comments which are critical of a short film being too… short. By their very nature, short films are going to have a different feel and pacing to them - and if that’s not your cup of tea, that’s totally fine - but it’s unfair to judge shorts by the same expectations as feature films or series. As a *short film* this one is much (much) better than the current 7.2 rating would seem to indicate.

Not only is it in the summary, there is also the scene after graduation where he is shown with the documents changing his last name. And the scene where he starts to feel guilty for how he is treating Chaeha bc he realizes that they are both victims of the events that happened that day. Him being the victim’s son is not intended to be a surprise to the viewer.
