I like the first couple episodes so far. It took a few minutes to register BHS, he has certainly matured with his persona since Our Blues. I also always like HSK from his Dr Romantic series, but I was very happy to see Km Sang Ho, although in a quirky role as a legendary judge, since it's not often I see him in series. I liked his role in A Good Rain knows.
She died. The second half of the episode was about showing the impact she had on other people's lives.
In the brief time she had to do the movie, she left incredible lasting impressions with everyone she interacted in all positive ways. So in a way she secured her life, she wasn't just any NPC in her own game. She mattered, she changed people, she helped people. So even though she is gone, it is not completely, because she mattered.
I keep forgetting things when I’m with you. You’re sick, but I don’t see that. There’s no time, but it feels like there is. I like you, but I feel like I shouldn’t. I thought I was mistaken, but I know all too well this is real.
First two episodes are very strong start to this but at some level this is some kind of cruelty to myself to start…
This is an interesting series for me. I mean, we already know the punchline - she is terminally ill, we also know they are to fall in love over the course of their project together, so there are no surprises. I'm expecting there will be tremendous romantic scenes that will make our hearts soar, there will be deepest of lows shattering hearts repeatedly. I am asking myself, why do I continue wanting to watch this? I don't know why, but so far the interactions between the 2 at least in these first 2 episodes have me totally mesmerized. To remain credible, I doubt there will be some miracle at the 11th hour giving them a happy ever after. It's in anticipation on how he will continue to move on.
I'm definitely torn about watching this. Knowing the outcome - unless they pull a writer's miracle we are basically given the ending. It should be a beautiful ride until it ends.
I didn't read any comments beforehand, so I went in with no expectations. It had me laugh out loud so many times.…
Wow, that is a good observation! I couldn't help but felt some familiar vibe to these first 2 episodes although I couldn't recall where, and after seeing your connection with HCCC vibes now makes total sense to me. Yeah, I mean story isn't the same, but yeah those familiar vibes were hard to describe. I am enjoying what I have seen so far.
i heard a lot of bad comments about the first episodes but I still decided to watch it. To be honest, I don't…
So true. I had initially hesitated watching this due to some of the comments, and in particular about the FL performance. And while she is wildly portrayed, after paying attention to her backstory how she acted started to make sense (total meltdown). There is chemistry with the FL and ML, and also the 2FL 2ML. I am giving this series a shot.
I haven't seen any versions of this but I can't see it ending well because eventually she has to revert to the…
It will be interesting if they spin the ending. I've watched a couple of the movie versions, and you are right, the endings are all the same, but each has her sacrificing her second chance for her family again. Although the endings are not romantic happy ever after, but still quite uplifting in favor of aging.
Yeah, one episode per week. Waiting is the hardest in this case! But hope it's worth waiting!!
One episode a week and at 12 episodes gets us into March 2025! I'm putting this on hold until the spring when it's completed then do the binge watch. Also by that time will check from reviews if even worth the watch.
I think the song is called "Day after day" by Big Naughty
Oh WOW! Yes, thank you so much! That is the one. Honestly I love how in some series, there is just some perfect scene paired with the perfect song. These scenes linger on! Thanks again! I searched and found this link on YT, i think just recently posted - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sd-M01Oahd8
Yes someone commented earlier...its...oh my love by john Lennon
Not that one by John Lennon. The one I am interested is the Korean song in the nurse's room after FL fell down and scraped her palm. I guess still a bit early for OST releases.
I really like that song that played in ep 01, in the school infirmary where young ML get thunderstruck by young FL. Is anyone able to help identify that song?
What I am confused is her on again, off again need for glasses. In ep 1 her damaged glasses scene indicated her vision is bad enough that she is unable to recognize ML thus the reason for the misunderstanding. She gets new glasses, but she wears them only in some scenes, and yet at the bar she is more than able to see clearly without them, even after drinking.
She is hilarious! Some of her lines and scenes were so spot on! When she offers to inflict vengeance by Latching…
Yeah! I think she's wired totally different from FL and the other friend, in a really cute way! I noticed she played another besties role in My Liberation Notes. She is so pretty in that one too!
Her best friend or whoever she is to Yoon is thirsting hard over Seo 🤣
She is hilarious! Some of her lines and scenes were so spot on! When she offers to inflict vengeance by Latching onto him and become a stain on his life! That had me spitting out my coffee!
I had this former co worker that is like Takano lol not that exaggerated and obviously not as hot as Nanao. She…
Back in the 9-5 world decades ago, I had a similar coworker. While he didn't stare at blue screens, what he did do was during meetings would utter the strangest and most seemingly disconnected words/sentences/thought, always to the bewilderment to everyone at the table. We often wondered why the boss kept him around, but turns out he was like part of the founding marketing team that kicked start the company. He was like some marketing prodigy. Careerwise he was amazing and successful, but his personal life totally collapsed bringing his mental state to a shutdown. Years later after various institutions he was rehired to help him back on his feet. The humbling thing for me tho. All the things he used to say during meetings, actually much later became lightbulb moments. While his ability to communicate coherently was reduced, he was still thinking tons of steps ahead of us mere mortals.
Overall this is shaping up as an okay series with amusing parts, although it drags here and there. But I'll stick…
Yes, I really think there has to be some backstory for her behaviour. One episode where after she nearly successfully completed her data entry task she fell unconscious, definitely seems like a defensive response by her brain. But how she is able to handle people and situations in very stressful and confrontational situations effortlessly but without any inkling or explanation of how she was able. In the meantime I am enjoying each episode as they explore each team member, fleshing out their stories. Will be interesting ride.
LJH after his run.

Yeah, that really hits it for me!
To remain credible, I doubt there will be some miracle at the 11th hour giving them a happy ever after. It's in anticipation on how he will continue to move on.
