Was really starting to enjoy this series, but lost interest since the subs have been dropped after episode 7.

Thank you so much!!! I got my wife hooked onto this beautiful little series back in the fall '21, and was our Friday dinner watch. While we love the ML and FL, we are actually more in love Nao and Suzuki. We were impressed with the range from Suzuki Nobuyuki since watching him play a wide variety of contrasting characters from Radiation House to the latest crime drama Kei x Yaku. And Nao is just so darn sweet, loved her in Neechan no Koibito. Again thanks for picking up the series!!!

I can see why there are the unfavorable reviews of this movie. I was hesitant to watch this movie but caught a few scenes that had me chuckling and so I wound up watching the full movie. This is as the title states an alternate interpretation of the Three Kingdoms, but then that is where the disconnect for some viewers starts. In order to appreciate some of the jokes there is a need to have a reasonable knowledge of the various heroes and leaders, and some of the events and battles as several of these are played for laughs. So for those not aware of the Three Kingdoms, Cao Cao, Liu Bei, many of the jokes don't make a lot of sense. And then for those who are followers of the stories probably feel the jokes and scenes are in bad taste as they tend to make their heroes look oafish. Anyways, I did wind up enjoying it but this movie likely won't be for everyone.

I think you could be right on that. He said he's from a large family, and he also never saw a couple of them, reminds me of those wealthy family back stories. Definitely that scene when he walked out of the hotel all dressed up, he showed distinction in his alter ego.

I felt the majority of the episodes were decently done although a couple I started yawning midway. Episode 6 got me laughing out loud, but most episodes were generally okay.
