I haven't been able to watch with any subtitle, but I think from the last few scenes he did wind up finding Yayoi. Haru, I believe was in some terminal care, where Yayoi was caring for her and they became friends. I think for each of them when they were going over Haru's photos at different times, Yayoi realize Haru was Shun's first love and for Shun realized that Yayoi actually knew Haru during her last days. I'm anxiously awaiting some translations as the story looks interesting.
Story just seemed to go nowhere for me. I generally like Jeon Do Yeon, especially the scene when she got out of prison, she was so hot in that black dress. But honestly who comes out of prison in a tight black dress and 4 or 5 inch heels? Anyways, it's hard to picture her as some kind of hard ass debt collector as she makes her rounds finding the source for her money. And then it just kind of - that's it... And the ending, okay, it's a deal... with the very people that betrayed you to begin with? And let's just have fish fry on the pier with a bag of cash.
And on top of that - JC Wook playing the extreme whiny baddy, after enjoying his role in Welcome to Samdai Ri, was like a major 180 for me!
Episode 11: I'm left absolutely astonished by how cruel this is getting😵💫😭what an S is the script…
Conversation each episode:
Director "Did Natsu cry at all this episode?" Writer "uh, no, not yet..." Director "Well, darn it!, Make him cry! FInd some way for his tears to flow!" Writer "Okay, we can have Umi rip out his heart." Director "Perfect!! Ren's gorgeous with tears!" Director "Quick call our sponsors! Ren will cry this episode too!"
The vibes of this drama is so comforting❤️I want dramas like this, any suggestions?
If you enjoy the FL and ML, have you had a chance to catch the movie "Phases of the Moon."? It's a bit of sad but cathartic movie, but the romance btw FL and ML are very nice.
that guy natsu need to go beach alone and screams "FVCKKKKKKKK" the writer really hate his character i think
Yeah right? I really felt that his only bright light in the entire series was his daughter Umi, but that one line from Umi in ep 11 "Why weren't you my daddy when mom was here?" absolutely floored me! It's like a kick to the balls when the poor guy's on the ground.

Just saw ending of ep 11. Talk about an absolute cruel line from Umi - "Why weren't you my daddy when mom was here?" What an absolute kick in the balls! Coupled with the ending scene where Misuki dismissed him from trying to support her going to the gyno office. How bad can this guy be made to feel.
Ep 11 officially changed my opinion on this series... I used to like it. I know everyone is different, but to…
Yeah, I started to zone out midway in the series. It just seemed Natsu couldn't catch a break no matter how he tried, and nearly every episode had someone treating him with disdain.
ai chan's terrible english pronounciation in the first episode was so cute.
I had the same initial reactions, but after a few episodes all that became quite endearing to me. I really enjoyed the banter in english and the lines were quite funny!
Natsu should have fought a bit harder for his woman, smh! Wishing her all the happiness and I hope she finds an…
If you really love someone, you must let them go. If they come back love is true, if they don't... I think while he does love her, he knows it would be selfish and unfair of him to pressure her into a full family setting all of a sudden. She could have stayed but as we saw she had to come to grips that she was not doing herself any favors, just satisfying everyone else. If in the end she decides to come back, it's coming back knowing it was her own choice rather than just accepting it.
I feel super sad for Tsuno as he was the closest thing to Umi's dad but then when the biological dad showed up…
Actually that's where I am slightly confused with her timeline. When he made the commitment to help her, Umi looks like she was maybe 2 or 3 years old? But at that time I don't think Mizuki was experiencing any problems that may indicate anything severe? At the time of the scene where they were together making the Onigiri did she know she had the illness and told him that in order not to drag him in further? There were a few spots I couldn't understand without proper subtitles. Yeah, I wasn't sure if she made the decision because she didn't want any love commitment, or that she knew she was already sick? I guess in that case if she decided to marry him, then she passes away that he would be saddled with taking care of Umi, which from all indications he probably would have wanted anyways? Colour me a bit confused...

The more I see of Tsuno, he really impresses me that he kept his promise to help her unconditionally even with the lack of reciprocal love from her. It is quite infuriating that he gave up several years of his life and realistically nothing to show for it then to be treated as disposable, where he might have been able to share his love with someone else who he could have had a lifetime love. Of course we would never know if he just went his own way on different outcome for him.
My wife let out a shriek at the ending! Now we are wondering if or when a second season is coming? If not a season 2, possibly at least an SP? So many loose ends!!!
I'm having serious problems liking Mizuki. I know she is supposed to be a free-spirited kind of person, but all…
So many times she basically just steamrolled people with her decisions. Forcing Natsu to sign, then ghosting him completely (then continue to stalk him), Visiting her mom one day and just devastating her with the cancer news and getting her parents to accept guardianship - like they are in their early 70s with a 6 year old? Then just killing Tsuno with her decision at hospital bedside not to even try the treatment that could possibly save her? These are cruel decisions she made and you can see the hurt she inflicted each time. This is probably why Tsuno had that talk with Yayoi cautioning her not make decisions alone. So yeah, the more I rewatch some of her scenes, I got more upset at her selfish decisions.

After watching ep 7 at least got to know Tsuno's character. He definitely got friend zoned by Mizuki, as she never gave up her love for Natsu. But seriously, how she ever came to the conclusion that Natsu would not have loved having a family with her is still so bizarre. Forcing him to sign the abortion doc, then just disappearing from his life with the fictitious new man. And what's beyond me is that by the time she knew she was dying, seriously did she think that her elderly parents were going to take full guardianship for at least another 10 to 15 years until Umi gets older? And Tsuno stood by her all that time faithfully helping her even to the last moments. Then IMHO casually tossed away by her parents and everyone else. It was seriously cold how Mizuki's mom told him to keep his hands off from helping with boxing up Umi's things. Only Umi wanted him since in a way he was the only father figure she really knew. Anyways, episode 7 was a tough watch seeing how a Tsuno was treated by Mizuki and family.
Dramas for masochistic people, I had never seen 20 episodes of pure suffering, I understand that in its time it…
So true. This is one that you definitely want to purge your tear ducts with. The suffering FL went thru, then the turmoil the ML had, the betrayals. Then of course the life altering situation for ML. But all's well in just the last 5 minutes... Honestly I don't think either ML or FL had happiness more than 5 or 10 minutes without something devastating happening to one or both of them.
What episode do he get his memory back? Can somebody please spoil me?
It's been some time since I watched the series, so had to go back and binge thru. He started to confirm his past, though he still has his doubts, in ep 12 and 13 where he digs into some of his history from the old house and confronting his mother who had hidden the truth all those years. But by this time Yu jin finally convinced herself that he is only someone who looks like her first love and decides to resume her current life. But it's Ep 14 that she really gets confirmation he was her real first love. This series was a real roller coaster ride. I mean, he in his new identity did really fall for her, but by the that time she decided she was only chasing the illusion and tried to end it. Through the earlier episodes, for instance at the ski lodge project, there brief glimpses of recall such as accidents or piano music, it wasn't until these later episodes it finally confirms. But honestly ep 14 was really beautiful done, oh that airport scene! I will admit rewatching some of the episodes, some really heartbreaking but beautiful scenes. One was heartbreaking scene when she came into the classroom and learning of his accident, and of course episode 14 when she realizes who he really is.
