Title Crash Course in Romance Spoiler
I have a feeling that lawyer mom is going to play a big role in the revenge on those ladies.
Yeah, that's an interesting dilemma for her. She really has contempt for the lead mom, but her sons and her reputation takes precedence - even more than her marriage. But it will be so nice when lead mom gets hers!

My wacky/crazy theory is that Nan Haeng-ja (Hae-yi's mom) is somehow connected to hockey boy. When she abandoned…
So true. Hai E had trust issues with her secret after her schoolmate betrayed her when she was younger. She wrestled for a while since her aunt and even Mr Choi both verbally said that they weren't interested in each other, but their actions spoke so loudly to her. That scene when FL finally let loose with the bawling was so heart breaking. There is the realization that for both FL and ML, they are their first loves. The way FL cried on her BFF shoulder was like a young teen crying, something I doubt she has ever done. I mean even from the scenes after her mother died there was no crying from her. She just kept her head high as she suddenly had so much responsibility on her shoulders there was no time to cry.

I am really curious to see if Hae E real mom will show up in the show and come to the rescue to clear the air…
Her real mom might be a dark horse, maybe she turned herself around years after the abandonment, maybe super successful and comes back out to help with the revenge and some redemption. The writers have so much leeway on several of these characters from the past.

At this point the brother has to be a red herring. I bet he saw something fishy and began investigating. Then…
I'm wondering the same thing, he's amateur sleuthing and got caught up becoming a suspect. That begs the question of who has vested interest in what seems like protecting ML or maybe even that is a red herring and it's to protect the academy and ML is just a prized asset? I would be disappointed if the writers blame it on some random guy at the end. Like cheap murder mysteries, let's introduce some dumb schmuck in episode 15, and he/she's the murderer!

btw what happened to the stalker girl from ep 1 why didn't anyone file a missing report if she went missing after…
Yeah, considering the detective that's currently trying to figure out the connection between the various murders, surprising that she isn't part of the list of cases. I honestly thought some of the detective's scenes her file would show up somewhere. It's almost like the writers forgot about her?

Gee, these characters in their 60's should make for an even more exciting story line, with possible hearing loss,…
Closing scene of season 2 - ML and FL walks up the road to his old university for the pork cutlets. Half way up, he says "the climb is too tough, I know a place down the hill that's just as good..."

She's happy and has moved on. Works in HQ and is set to get married in the next year :)
Honest is a good word for her. While in the beginning she seemed like a spoiled rich brat, she really was trying hard at work to build her own reputation (as much as she could since daddy's money is omnipresent at the bank) and she really was very straightforward and cruelly blunt. As anyone likely would have in her shoes, she lashed out a few times when things went south but those I consider quite normal reactions, but at the end she did the most mature thing - Walk away. And while walking away is rarely without regrets she chose not to keep the baggage (as far as we know from the last few scenes) as the ML and FL did with theirs. What really annoyed me with the ending was that it was stupidly obvious that FL had remorse as she still reminisce when she see the photo she took of ML in her photo archive, as did ML when he looked into his friend's discarded wedding album. And that final WHAT IF scenarios was simply junk IMHO.

She has the best response - he's just an EX! Move on, life's too short to dwell on What Ifs!

This series was excruciating to watch. The FL is seriously damaged goods, cheating on all, it seems natural for her as it comes from her mom's genes. The amount of blue pill men is this kdrama was just too much. Honestly not a single guy with the balls to just call things as they are. Painful. And then while this is supposed to be based on the novel, the ending just so "Meh".

He lied. What's so great about that?
I felt the same way. He chose the "noble" option, begged the affair partner's wife to have a settlement and stayed in the marriage for his kids, regardless of his hate (as he said it) of his cheating wife. And the result of his silence, his daughter spent her life resenting him, the death of his son. Honestly this honorable BS doesn't cut it.

It was so entertaining watching Choi Min Shik doing his independent investigations. As it's often said, takes a thief to catch a thief. Honestly super funny watching him played the various targets, and his crime scene analysis were cool to watch. If this series wasn't so serious, it could have played for laughs as him as a gangster/crime investigator.

Okay so as someone who watched the first 3 episodes I'll explain a bit for what kind of audience this show will…
Good points! I am watching since this has a couple of my faves - Nobuyuki and Nanao. I was taken aback from the first episode since there seemed little chemistry between the two, but as I trudged along with the next episodes I started to see that it was something that could happen IRL. A couple of strangers with chance meeting having initial sparks rushes into a marriage only to find the daily grinds of keeping the relationship needs personal improvement - which we start seeing in episode 3. Along with keeping their alter egos hidden but of course the anticipation to see how the unfolds.
From what I can gather so far (I've been watching without subtitles and have been attempting to google translate as much as I can), he isn't really the brightest light or the top of his ninja clan, while it appears that she is a few notches above him skill and possibly intellectually. However, he appears earnest in trying to improve himself in terms of being a better husband as he is able to see his flaws hurting his marriage.
I also wonder if Nobuyuki will make it his signature to carry the FL on his back in each of his series! LOL. He also piggyback Uchida Rio in Takahashi Bike Shop series, so cute!

This is a funny movie! I was hesitant due the reviews, so I just caught glimpses with the jump ahead button, but gradually scenes started catching my attention until I decided to give it a full watch. It was really funny and I had a fun time watching this. I also had to rewind a few times as there were layers to the characters and there were links between characters, especially as they sat around sharing stories and gossip.

A lot of the age discrepancy seems to be around how old a National handball team player would be. Considering…
I am a fan of JDY and love all her movies. Initially I had some reservations given her actual age, and sort of on the fence on her role. But as I watched the episodes a bit more closely, honestly her character has so much on her shoulders that her look is perfect. Considering at her earlier age losing her mother, taking on the maternal role for her abandoned niece, taking care of her at-risk brother and managing the business. Of course also having had to give up her dreams of the national team from the family pressures on her linger on. Some of the scenes are incredible as she bears these setbacks and some scenes I see her near breakdown but she trudges onward. Taking on insults from other mothers, struggling a bit to pay the hospital bill for her brother and all the while painting her smile back on her face.

Yeah, I couldn't get past her having a Sony Ericson phone in 1992, and having the ability to text in that year as well? The story seemed a bit over the place, as you said the messy directing.

I really liked it but I want to talk about something. I thought, at first, that I would follow the romance of…
I get the same feeling. Nomomoto is the romantic and she realizes that she has fallen in love with Kasuga. On the other hand, Kasuga is a bit hard to pin down. It's evident she doesn't seem to like men maybe due to her childhood trauma with her dad and brother and her daily interactions, but it's unclear if she even has any romantic inclinations to women either. She could be Aromantic, and possible that she sees Nomomoto as her best friend, but maybe not in any romantic way. If that is the direction of the relationship, it may be sad for Nomomoto being a one sided love. But anyways, since it's just a tale, and unless there is a season 2 we could just conclude with "And they loved each other happily ever after."
