I think it was one of the very last chapters but I can't remember what cause it was awhile ago. Yes SRQ did also transmigrate. I think it was an extra chapter because it was PWX's perspective

Hmm, it's blurry for me but I remember reading PWX's POV in a later chapter. He specifically mentioned SRQ being castrated but that they were still involved. Unless I missed a part where they clarified it? SRQ liked the princess since he was 12 and met her in the palace library but knew they weren't fated to be together.

I think they said the author changed up some details in the later chapters so their words don't match their actions...

I remember reading a chapter where PWX heard them from outside too. It specifically mentioned that although SRQ was an eunuch, they did "other things".

And after that incident, LR wanted to marry SRQ and divorce PWX. He hated the royal family but he was twisted - genuinely enjoying time with the princess since he had a crush on her since 12 years old but still knowing in the end, he was plotting against her.

There was no penetration (as he was an eunuch) but they did other things if you know what I mean.

It doesn't even seem dubbed tbh. It's pretty similar to his voice (compared to some dramas where the voice is so different from the actor's).

I feel like some people don't understand Li Rong enough. She was devastated when she found out Su Rongqing killed her rather than PWX. In her mind, she had accepted that PWX was a villain and out to get her. She and Su Rongqing were romantically AND sexually involved (see novel extra chapter in PWX's POV, we can ignore this though maybe the drama will ignore that too) for years (compared to her and PWX who had lived separately and were only seen together in public for the years following QZZ's death). No matter what is cleared up in their second chance, it would be weirder for Li Rong to accept all that information immediately. If the drama spent more time showing how Li Rong and Su Rongqing supported each other for the last 20 years, I think people would understand her perspective and confusion much more. Su Rongqing was the one who was with Li Rong over the previous 20 years, not PWX who could only helplessly watch them from afar.

It's better if PWX and Li Rong slowly fall for each other again because it's more realistic that way. Li Rong even says that all these conversations they are having about their past feelings are from so long ago, she needs time to accept it all.

EDIT: Some of you guys are taking this way too far? Instead of accusing me and others of spreading misinformation, just ignore it and go. This drama was based on the novel and nowhere did I say that whatever happened in the novel must happen in the drama. Plus why are you guys SO BOTHERED that she had sex with SRQ? She even said it in the DRAMA herself that they are way too old to be pretending to act shy about intimate relations. You just want Li Rong to be an innocent girl who stopped having sex after her husband decided to move out. Li Rong even asked for a divorce multiple times. Anyway, I'm gonna ignore the comment section from now on because you guys just hate Li Rong. I'm not even saying she's 100% right but you guys don't even try to be in her shoes for a single moment. The point of this comment was so y'all can try to see how she felt and why she still even looks at SRQ (which you guys complain about all the damn time).

Confused because the genre includes "wuxia" but it's a xianxia? Is this xianxia more similar to a wuxia? I personally really do not like the xianxias with the 1000000 year old immortals (because they usually have the IQ of a 10-year-old with the way they argue about dumb stuff, you'd think immortals would be bored or too lazy to care about random political conflicts 🙄) or xianxias with immortal realms in the sky. Is this drama set in the human realm? I want to watch because Zhao Liying but I really can't stand most xianxias.

On the other hand, I absolutely LOVE wuxias so if this drama is closer to a wuxia, i could possibly ignore certain xianxia aspects. please let me knoww

Finally completed this drama. It started out good but Chunsheng’s character is way too annoying. I get it’s his personality but half the problems that he encounters is due to him forgiving 10000x the same people that betray him over and over again.

What I CAN’T STAND AT ALL is Chunsheng treated Heizi as a good friend even though Heizi betrayed him multiple times but MOST OF ALL, Heizi is a wife beater, he beat up his wife and Chunsheng still is his friend? Disgusting

ep 8 slaysssss, Li Rong's explanation of what happened between the two of them makes so much sense. It cleared up a lot of my cloudy thoughts about it. We must be held responsible for our decisions and accept whatever the consequences of such decisions are.

I heard that them releasing so fast is why Zhang Linghe's voice is dubbed over. He had a throat condition during the filming so they can't use filming's audio and then they didn't give any time for him to dub after filming completed.

Good thing I'm fairly new to Zhang Linghe's dramas so it's not bothering me as I know it may bother other people.

They keep doing that...it's insane, they are still milking the express pass for The Double. I'm never going to subscribe to Youku

Qin Zhenzhen and Li Rong becoming besties is essential to my enjoyment of this drama

Yup and I’m annoyed that this could’ve been prevented if PWX just explained to Li Rong when she asked if he still has feelings for Qin Zhenzhen. But we would have no drama to watch if he communicated that.
