ep 16 was the best, it made me cry so many times and i think they wrapped it up very nicely.
although i've read many explanations/theories on why the mom's story was left the way it was, i'm still not satisfied with it. it almost seems like using moon young's reaction to seeing her mom still alive was their lousy way of fixing what they messed up BUT that's just my opinion.
the rest of the story was beautiful and i'm so proud of the trio (+ jae su, gang tae's new hyung!!)
so like rui is a devil, we all got that straight but i just wanna point out that while rui DID emotionally manipulate basically everybody... the victims of rui aren't angels either kazuma: cheated on his wife over and over again for half a year sayaka: cheated on kazuma when they were engaged mutsuki: sabotaged sayaka (at work) akiyama's ex-wife: tricked akiyama into marriage
there's probably more that i missed but even though some of those bad deeds, they were manipulated/talked into it, it was still something they CHOSE to do because deep down that's what they wanted to do.
After watching ep8, I am kinda (very) disappointed in Sayaka for cheating on Kazuma when she was engaged. Even if they didn't have sex, kissing is still cheating. Emotional cheating is still cheating. I mean, at least she acknowledged it.... I know Kazuma is a piece of shit but let's say she was engaged to a nice man, there are no excuses for her behavior.
Although I am disappointed in Sayaka, I still really like this drama because our female lead is imperfect and she isn't portrayed to be perfect either. I like how it parallels with how in the beginning, all her coworkers were jealous of her because Sayaka is a confident, beautiful, and (seemingly) perfect woman. Now it's getting near the end of the drama and we see how she is imperfect and broken.
I hope there won't be romance. I like the pairing of Seo Kyung and Do Won in their world but the Seo Kyung in the parallel universe is like a whole other person. Part of what makes their relationship special was the memories and how they grew up together (experiences). Do Won and Seo Kyung literally saved each other (Seo Kyung indirectly by giving Do Won a reason to live, and Do Won by literally preventing Seo Kyung's attempted suicide). The parallel universe versions of them grew up completely under different circumstances.
In a way, if Do Won and parallel universe Seo Kyung date, it's comparable to Seo Kyung dying and then Do Won dating a twin version of Seo Kyung (aka NOT THE SAME PERSON).
Guilty's Episode 7 is up! Please enjoy it!!! Aaaah, why each episode is so good!!? http://irozuku.org/fansub/drama/guilty-kono-koi-wa-tsumi-desuka-ep-07/

honestly though why do you guys care about how many freaking comments a drama has on MDL? It's not anything special,…
Honestly, my original comment only matters to those care about this. I'm a little bit discombobulated mostly because if you don't care about the comments, then my reminder doesn't pertain to you (not 'you' in particular, using 'you' in plural form).
The thing is, in all industries... Achievements are achievements regardless of how it got there. A quick example is music: Group A makes great music with a smaller fanbase thus less album purchases Group B also makes great music with a larger fanbase thus people are bulk buying and raising their numbers in the chart
The amalgamation of daily MDL users, people within the dramas' fanbases, all account for the number of comments. It matters less to some people (like yourself) and matters more to others (like ones who celebrated the hitting of 10k comments and others who spam comments elsewhere). No point demeaning it.

It’s a sense of achievement. Something that doesn’t matter to you may mean a lot to another. People on IOTNBO are spamming the comments with random stuff to raise the count. Others have definitely celebrated the comment count here as well. Just wanted to acknowledge that.
anyone else really happy to see fan xian not really partake in the harem? i know he isn't ACTUALLY part of the 21st century but he has morals/ethics that are aligned with the morals/ethics of 21st century china (where polygamy is banned). i think it would be out of character for him too like multiple girls at the same time.
despite that, i wish that our girl wan'er was a bit more interesting. i know she comes to be very strong-minded but the other girls in the "harem" are definitely more interesting. like i wouldn't be mad if wan'er wasn't the female lead. of course, i have nothing against wan'er and i'm not here for the romance but idk... tbh, as long as fan xian doesn't fall into polygamy (like he does in the novel.... ) i'll be happy
i watched this about 7 years ago. the fact that i can still remember part of the plot means that this drama was memorable and deserves a good score. i don't quite remember most of it (or even what the characters look like) but still...

I read this as:
Cried my heart out when Sang-Tae died.
I was about to have the fattest meltdown ever. Oh god
