you're not alone with all the confusion here, and yeah the terms used for all 3 dramas are different. I watched ALP & TL 2 years ago, most events I could no longer recall, but I think the connection between these and the other 2 previous dramas are much far apart now.

Xingyue is a goddess, her name is Yue Mi in ALP but it was changed because of copyright since this drama is airing in iQiyi instead of Tencent.

Same, I like all the characters she plays too. It's giving strong independent women✨ like she doesn't need the ML to be her shining knight in armor, her characters can stand in equal footing with the ML character 🩵

I thought the first sets of osts were already too beautiful... then they gave us Bai Lu and Ao Rui Peng singing an ost together. I just listened to it and even their voices when they sang match well with each other. Love it and can't wait to hear it played for one of their scenes soon 💜🌟

Yes! I couldn't agree more with you and we are barely halfway through, this is 40 ep drama so there will be more to her character. Fan Yue said a meaningful line in earlier episodes too, he said: "it takes time to give in to someone you hate, i'm in no rush".

I think you don't understand her character or what relationship she has with Fan Yue. They started out with a transactional relationship and is only there to gain benefits from each other, otherwise she would have stayed clear from him or even him from her. Ofcourse she would conclude that he is only protecting the stone when they aren't in any romantic or intimate relationship yet, she doesn't trust him and only chose to rely on herself after the traumatic event that happened to her which awakened her that not everyone is worth trusting and relying on. Also, she's allowed to be suspicious about who she allies with, after all they are demons and for your last question, not every female lead is meant to be written just to fall head over heels for male leads charm at first sight.
