Interesting, in episode 6 Fan Yue was telling Bai Shou about the Lunar race and said the hidden lord Mo Li caused the catastrophe to the world, he was eventually killed by Lunar Goddess Xing Yue and and Demon Lord Jing Yuan. I looked at the cast list and just realized Chong Zhao other name was Mo Li. Can't wait to see the unfolding of their past lives as gods.

I disagree, so far really loving her character. She is strong and clever even if she has her flaws there are good qualities in her. She isn't OP now but she will definitely be in latter half of the episodes.

I think there is no need to bring a comparison here on which among these two dramas would be promising, firstly both are different genres so it's quite irrelevant to ask since genre is the biggest difference among them, I suggest you follow your own personal taste and genre. These dramas both surely have good points on their own.

I totally agree with you on this one. Bai Shou went through the worst and most traumatic event to witness all of that horrible event, she is extremely damaged. Even if he did contribute to helping her, that doesn't change the fact that his intention was never meant to help her but to solely unlock her contemplation for his personal gains.

This is a completely new different story. The characters are adapted from ALP but that's just the similarity. These discussions might help you further understand the only similarity and connection both ALP & MM have.

Yes exactly that! Tantai Jin is a much more complex and darker character

He is my fave character too don't get me wrong, what I meant in general is how these characters were written. Tantai Jin is a evil god most powerful demon whereas Fan Yue is not a god but only a demon. The domineering aura is more suitable for Tantai Jin as from start he was depicted as most evil (which we know he wasn't eventually). In here, Fan Yue isn't depicted to be like Tantai Jin whose motive is to destroy the world. Here Fan Yue is only after the desireless stone's power and not about world destruction and stuff.
