Gahhh if this is for the final episode I will be so happy because I don't see Song Kang, so this could be a little hint for a Jojo X Hye Young ending.

I can’t believe she still loved him after everything he did to her and her loved ones that he killed. I can’t believe he called that ‘love’. He was toxic af, he was obsessive, he takes the crown for trashiest male lead. He should have been the one to die.

So beautifully done! There was no excessive drama, no over-the-top moments. Really teaches you that sometimes the love was always there (even after 20 years) but the communication was lost.

I really only get SLS when the second lead actually has a back story and is crucial to the plot rather than just being used to bring the leads closer. If a second lead is simply in the plot to fall for the girl, make the main lead jealous and realise his true feelings, and then be heart-broken once the girl goes to the main lead, it pisses the hell out of me. Like why would you need that? If you were a tiny bit more creative, you could make a perfectly good story without the addition of a second lead that will just be thrown away in the end with very little character development.

Some examples of these kinds of second leads are: Xiang Jun in Loving, Never Forgetting (he was an obsessed, manipulative, lying creep btw), all the second leads that loved Hae Soo in Scarlet Heart Ryeo (like seriously none of them had their own story), Seo Chan Yeong in The Liar And His Lover.

Those are just to name a few, but I'm sure we can all think of at least one second lead that was just an unnecessary addition to a storyline (and sometimes a major headache).

Just watched the first episode of Extracurricular and every 5 minutes I would think to myself “damn he really looks like a mix of BTS’ Jimin and Jin”.

I love that Nam Goon Min aces both comedic and serious roles. A lot of actors excel in one but can't portray the other very well. But NGM is sure to give his best performance whether he's a psychopathic serial killer or a happy-go-lucky fool.

Here's a semi-short summary for anyone who is still hesitant to watch this:
Amazing script with amazing veteran actors that know exactly what emotion to portray at the right time (Oh my God Choi Won Young was phenomenal - the scene where he visited the house he grew up in gave me goosebumpsss).
There's selfishness, there's character growth, there's moments of success and moments of fear, there are twists and turns and definitely questioning of morals and ethics.

"I gave up everything for this revenge, but what have you given up?"

No wonder this is getting a season 2, it's just that good of a show.

P.S. I love that Nam Goong Min has a creepy smile and cute smile. They come in handy for different occasions.

She seems to be more suited to drama/melodrama and thrillers rather than comedy. I like her in the comedy/romance projects she's done but they're nothing impressive. INTRUDER though, she nailed that movie (being a thriller genre), the ratings and rankings speak for themselves.

I hope she can get more thriller roles and some pretty awesome scripts in the future.

I am sorry but that hye young was a fucking creep and a stalker and your calling him a kind and incocent and blaming…
Stalker: (noun) a person who harasses or persecutes someone with unwanted and obsessive attention.

1. Hye Young didn't harrass or persecute Jojo even once.
2. Hye Young didn't give Jojo obsessive attention even once. Heck, she didn't even notice his presence for almost all of her high school days. He went to the same school as her and worked in the same part-time job as her and she didn't notice him because he was respectful enough not to make any moves and to not approach her with any ulterior motives.

What was he desperate for? What did he do wrong? Kiss his best friend's crush? Be possessive and tell her she shouldn't listen to boy bands or even get to know any of his friends? Obsess over using an APP to verify one's feelings? Emotionally cheat his girlfriend while still being in love with someone else?
.... Oh wait, those were all things that Sun Oh did. You see, Sun Oh is the desperate, possessive and semi-controlling guy that you've fallen head over heels for.

The only thing Sun Oh and Jojo shippers use against Hye Young is the 'stalker' card, which in itself is completely wrong because clearly you don't even know the meaning of a stalker.

How many projects will these two have together until they can finally be endgame T_T
They have been the main cast in 3 projects so far but they didn't end up together in any of them. I thought they would finally be together in this but nope T_T

Teddy and the ex-profiler stole the spotlight for me. Everything else about the drama was just ‘alright’. The comedy was awkward and stiff at times, and honestly not very necessary.
FL annoyed me in the first couple of episodes, but she got better.

I found the last episode quite anti-climatic.

I seriously hate hype culture. If I was originally planning on watching something but then it’s just everywhere and the only thing I see and hear relates to that show, I almost begin to hate the show.
That’s why if I want to watch something but it’s getting too much hype, I end up watching it several months later when people are no longer talking about it and I’ve forgotten all the spoilers I’d accidentally seen.

Sadly, so many shows have ended up becoming disappointing/boring near the middle because of the massive hype culture when the show first started.

I can never trust Min Joon Kook in dramas. Everytime he shows up I expect him to be playing an evil role. So watching Prison Playbook and seeing him have the role of a nice guy was so surprising XD

I hope his future projects all become hits. Most of the stuff he's been in so far has been meh. His acting has improved A LOT (his crying scenes get to me T_T) and he's become more handsome than before, so I wish him good luck with his upcoming projects.

On The Secret Life of My Secretary Jun 24, 2020
The description on here is so wrong. Do Min Ik isn't a perfectionist man with a heart of stone and he's definitely not a mean boss. Jung Gal Hee isn't hot-tempered nor does she always say what she wants.
It's actually the opposite. For once I saw a boss in a Kdrama that is cute, caring and smiley. He tries to be stern but he gives in straight away, he dearly loves the few people around him and he trusts people A LOT. The female lead isn't hot-tempered, she's actually usually patient. She doesn't take crap from her boss, because he doesn't GIVE her any crap. They actually have a very cute dynamic. Yes, he's always calling for her so she's always on her toes, but she's a 'personal' secretary, it's her job.

The storyline though..is a bit whack. Most of it is fine (and very cute), but there are a few moments where you'll think 'tf is this?'
If you are someone who can watch a Kdrama without implementing logic in all the time, then you'll get through this drama just fine. Because the sometimes-shitty-plot is made up for by the main leads' and second leads' chemistry and sizzling romance.

And *drum roll* no one is pure evil in this drama.

The first 2 to 3 episodes may be a little hard to get through, but if you do decide on watching this drama, then just hang in there. You may end up loving it.

Wow thankfully I didn't watch this drama. Apparently its a whole sh*tshow. I love LSH but the female lead...no…
I was going to watch this for Lee Soo Hyuk thinking that he was FINALLY going to get the main lead role. But looks like the writers screwed it up :)
