I’m not saying Yuri wanted MJ gone from the beginning, I’m talking about now. Right now, YR knows that there’s no other way for her to take her place unless MJ is gone. Considering she only has a few days left, it’s practically impossible for GH to divorce MJ and then marry YR. So either they have to quickly find another solution, or she’s going to die after those 49 days like it was meant to happen.
I’m not choosing anyone in particular, I’m seeing things from all the characters’ perspectives and honestly MJ’s story is the saddest. YR’s death isn’t anything special, a lot of people have been in her situation, besides she chose to die so that her child could be saved. And she lived her life surrounded by people who loved her unconditionally. For the past 3 years, MJ has poured all her love and attachment into Seo Woo and Gang Hwa, only for Gang Hwa to still not be over Yuri.
While Yuri has a lot of people to console her and be there for her, MJ has no one, not even her husband who can’t even show his true feelings around her.
I hope everyone can have their happiness but I really hope it’s not the generic second-lead-meets-someone-else.

The person isn't nitpicking on particular things, their general idea is that Yuri had 5 years to move on and she didn't, and now that she's been back for 49 days, she's literally accomplished nothing. I don't know how she thought sticking to Seo Woo was going to make the ghosts go away when she herself is currently neither a ghost or a human, so it would obviously affect Seo Woo who has weaker energy than adults. Yuri found out that SW sees ghosts before bring brought back to life. That's why she cursed out loud in the streets and was then given 49 days. Yuri didn't want Gang Hwa to leave MJ but now she's getting greedy for her place so technically she does want MJ gone.
Have you been watching the same drama as the rest of us? You've missed a lot of important details.
I was all for Ganghwa x Minjeong at first since we never really knew the depth of their relationship (and it looked…
Gang Hwa's an ass. Giving Min Jung flowers, going out on dates with her, getting married to her and making her believe he's in love with her...only to show that he's still not over Yuri. Literally what an ass. Min Jung poured all her love and attachment into Gang Hwa and Seo Woo for nearly 3 years and this is what she gets in return.
true! i understand why people ship yu ri and gang hwa, but cmon, min jung has been a good mom for seo woo, she's…
I think maybe Yuri did consider her as a friend, but I don't think it was real on Yuri's best friend's part. Even now, that woman is still so awkward around Min Jung. She forces smiles and literally only talks to Min Jung because Yuri's around. She's constantly been telling Yuri to get her place back. When she was drunk, she said something like separating Min Jung and Gang Hwa for Yuri. I know she cares about her friend but it's been FIVE years. People move on, they need to move on. They already HAD moved on but once Yuri showed up everything just went to hell.
I completely agree with you...I feel bad for MJ too...she not only wasted her years in the marriage but also the…
Exactly, I'm going to regret watching this show if the result is Yuri with Gang Hwa and Min Jung suddenly finding someone else. For once in a Kdrama none of the people are bad and you can't hate anyone (even the exorcist, he's just doing his job that Ms. Midong has been putting off for 20 years now). And yet here they want to give Mi Jung the same shitty ending that lots of other second male/female leads get in other dramas, which is ending up with someone else because they can't have the main character. But in this drama, Mi Jung already IS with Gang Hwa, she's put so much effort in for both Seo Woo and Gang Hwa, and now they just want to get rid of her?
I'm going to hate this drama if Min Jung doesn't get her own happy ending. Before Yuri came back, no one approached her, she was known as 'Gang Hwa's second wife' and 'Seo Woo's step mom'. Now that Yuri is back, everyone secretly (some openly, *cough* Yuri's best friend *cough*) wants Min Jung gone. Makes you wonder if the two women ever actually considered Min Jung as their friend, the way she adores them.
When we saw scenes of Gang Hwa showing that he liked Min Jung and buying her flowers and stuff, I started to have hope that he really did have feelings for her and that they would actually stay together. But now in ep 14 you can see that he's still not over Yu Ri and it's heart breaking to know that Min Jung spent nearly 3 years with a man who she poured all her love into, whom doesn't reciprocate the same feelings. Why did he buy her flowers and ask her out on dates? Why did he get married to her and make her think he's in love with her when he was still not over Yuri?
Min Jung needs to divorce him. She deserves better than Gang Hwa. And with Yuri now getting greedy about taking back her place, Min Jung doesn't deserve to be in the middle of all this bullshit. Once she's gone, I want Gang Hwa to realise how important she was for Seo Woo, and to some extent, for him.
if you scroll through the comments there's several where people ask me pretty much that same question and i answer…
Oh I wasn’t expecting a reply XD I just commented this out of shock. The “how can you call healer awful” was a rhetorical question. But thanks for your reply anyway.
3 years later and I'm still shocked about HOW ON EARTH you can call Healer 'objectively awful' That drama was so damn good with the acting, plot, side characters, chemistry and everything else that I had such major withdrawal symptoms.
No offence but he can't act. He should stick to modelling for now and get acting lessons on the side. If he does start acting again. being supporting characters are better than doing main roles. That way he'll learn techniques and styles that will help him. At the moment he can show no emotion whatsoever, other than maybe the occasional smile.
This ahjumma is just so damn good. Every character she plays is different and she aces it each time: Healer, The Heirs, Bride of the century, It's okay that's love, Hi Bye Mama. All such different characters but she plays them all so well, she's honestly amazing.
I love this drama sooo much but does anyone else find the flashbacks between min jung and ganghwa weird. Like…
I feel like they did that on purpose to make us think there was no hope for Min Jung and Gang Hwa. They gave Min Jung this weird aura in the first episode where it seemed like she didn't care much for Seo Woo, and they made her relationship with Gang Hwa very monotonous and boring, as if there were no feelings involved. But with each episode, we were shown more of Min Jung and how she does care for Seo Woo, she just doesn't know how to help, and we were shown how Gang Hwa does in fact care for her. E.g. when she had those plasters on her head and he quickly got up to hold her and ask her if she was in pain.
I think Gang Hwa felt sad after Yu Ri appeared again not because of conflicting feelings, but mostly because of guilt. In his eyes, Yu Ri suddenly came back and saw him married (after he promised he wouldn't) while their child calls someone else 'mom.' But I think now he feels much more guilty towards Min Jung. She's in the dark about things while others know what's going on.
Maybe Gang Hwa does still love Yu Ri but he's not in love with her, I think he's slowly falling in love with Min Jung and I feel like those divorce papers will make him realise that.
Agreed with everything but we all know who she's gonna end up with though let's be honest ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I guess if it’s based on the webtoon it would be Hye Yeong, but if it goes by majority viewers’ ships it would be Sun Oh. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Let's be honest, Sun Oh who was just too immature and selfish from the start. Hye Young knew when to back off from the get go, like when Jojo had a boyfriend and Sun Oh tried to persuade him to pursue her. That was wrong on so many levels, and the fact that Jojo cheated on her boyfriend by kissing Sun Oh, like bruh she was crap too. I don't care about what happens between Jojo and Sun Oh anymore, but honestly it's best for Hye Young to get rid of a friend (Sun Oh) who calls him a bastard for trying to pursue Jojo after 4 years. And I actually hope he finds someone that truly loves him, because he's too good for Jojo.
I haven’t read the manga so I went into this movie not knowing a single thing, and it turned out great. I loved the movie.
For those who have read the manga and are complaining about the plot being rushed, you have to understand it’s a movie. That’s what live action movies do, they have to rush things because they literally only have two hours to give the audience a storyline, not chapters and chapters of writing.
Don’t watch a movie that’s based off a manga and still expect most of the storyline to be in there, it’s just better to not watch it. That way, you won’t be comparing throughout the show, nor will you be disappointed in the end.
Anyway, I actually think this was really nice. It was refreshing and the characters were all eye candy.
Well at least she didn’t end up with either of them, because I would’ve been heart broken and devastated for whoever she didn’t end up with.
I marathoned all 3 movies and the drama but I feel so pissed about Arata’s character. The writers did him no justice! Why would they make him part of the main cast if he was going to have barely any screen time and no character development at all? I genuinely feel like Chihayafuru was based mostly around Taichi, and sometimes Chihaya. Aparently non of the guys were second lead but I just feel like that’s exactly what Arata was. The second lead, the third wheeler. And the annoying thing is that he was so nice! He could have at least been a jerk so that I didn’t fall head over heels for him. But NO, he was an absolute sweetheart from start to finish. T_T

Man, I just want a happy ending for everyone T_T
I was so damn excited for him to finally be the main lead.

My man’s finally going to be the main lead and end up with the female lead.
You don’t know how happy I am omgggg. His deep voice, his sexy aura, that piercing look. I CANNOT WAITTTTTT.
