She knew that as long as he was there, she would be safe.
So yes, to your point, she absolutely enjoys what they have. She is young and probably hasn’t fully processed her feelings yet. Hopefully, time will help her understand them.

Agreed with all of your perspective. Just sexual assault to me is a strong word. If we are going to label the ML’s unwanted kisses as sexual assault, then throwing silver coins at his head and slapping him is physical assault by the FL. Degrading his beliefs and insulting him without understanding his position is psychological assault.
But let me be clear: I have no issue with either of them going to extremes with each other. I genuinely see them as a couple who are crazy about each other and, in their own ways, a little crazy with each other. When they will gain clarity or recognize their feelings is up to them; I already see who they are beneath all the chaos.
For argument’s sake, I could call the FL a whore for offering her body to free the convicted SML. But I am not blind to the context. I know she is doing this gamble with the ML alone. She would never take this risk with anyone else. Likewise, everything the ML has done, however extreme or misguided, has been for her and her alone.
