Regarding FL: how far can she manipulate the truth without compromising her own integrity, and how much suffering is she willing to impose on ML to protect her job and finances?
Ep6. What do you think about ML, who tells his fiancée,
“I won’t tolerate infidelity,” while he himself continues to love… Seriously, guy, what’s your plan with this fiancée? (Well, besides saving your mother.) It seems like this question was left for later, so his intentions and motivations can be properly explored (hopefully!). Although sometimes the dialogues are so awkward—one line, and bam, the character is already under moral scrutiny.
One absolutely must applaud the dazzling performance of the lead actor: with his charisma and subtle mastery of expressing emotions, he manages to overshadow the relentless parade of clichés in the script and executes them brilliantly. Without uttering a single word, you grasp the full depth of his inner states. He effortlessly shifts from the wealthy, narcissistic guy of the early episodes, to a tender and kind man, and then to a stern figure who respects his convictions, torn between morality and principles, love and tenderness. And always, true to himself, his famous glossy black card never leaves him, like a stylish little revolver. Between the adorable son for his mother, the suspiciously dominant fiancé in one instinct, and the submissive lover in another… he showcases his talents with delightful panache. In short, the director has opened his treasure chest, and it’s ‘OKAY’ ;)
I have loved the second ML lead since 'Love All Play' and 'My Dearest'... I really hope he gets a main role soon🤗
It would be better to give him a separate spinoff and fully explore his story—both past and present. He’s a very interesting character who could break free from stereotypes (it’s a shame his love triangle ruins it all).
SFL acts so badly—sorry, but even though I don’t understand Korean, the moment she speaks I’m like: please, girl, stop. That emotionless pronunciation is taking me out! sorryyyyyy
ep6 top I find that these two are fantastic in the reversed roles. I’d even say I like them more in those roles than in their original bodies. FL has the charisma of a mature man without ever overacting. Respect!
6. All right, let’s take a look at our cuties!! It’s funny because I could never get through Mr. Queen — the whole body-swap thing totally threw me off, and the love story with this even more. But here? I absolutely love it. Why???
I laughed so much watching ep 5 . It’s excellent! Both actors are wonderful, they captured the mannerisms and expressions so well. Especially Kim Se-jeong — she is truly very talented. They’re both so adorable… I’m really looking forward to today’s episode
Lol Im in neither clan, Im just enjoying the drama as it is, I empathize with both characters and enjoy the ride....anyhow…
I just want to reassure everyone that I’m watching this super fun and hot drama with great pleasure. The actors are amazing! I just wanted to dig a little deeper into the background, that’s all lol.
Honestly I don't really understand the polarized hate over either of them. 🙈🙈🙈Both are going through…
I just wanted to clarify that I never feel any hatred toward a fictional character ;) And I really enjoy different points of view and analyses — they enrich me
This dramawe have 2 clans of commments: 1. clan are the guy’s fans (who understand and sympathize with the character—I’m among them).
2. The other clan are the girl’s fans, who justify her behavior or empathize with her actions—I don’t really belong to this group.
It clearly reflects the current state of work life, the socio-economic situation, and the unstable position of women, mothers, and people without work experience.
I also want to say that I really like the human qualities shown in fl ( ep 1. 2 or with her mom..) : she is kind, empathetic, hardworking, and positive (a female character I like from dramas, unlike, for example, the girls from Motel California or Last Summer, whose characters I don’t like). True, in the beginning she lacks confidence, but thanks to the guy, she becomes more decisive and self-assured. Nevertheless, morally, there are aspects she still logically needs to work on: realizing that she does love the guy too, that she can trust him, and stopping lying
I don’t agree with everyone blaming the guy. It’s logical that the woman herself is being unfaithful to her ‘husband,’ who, by the way, is a fairly good person, and she also has a family. Then she says it was just for fun (after which I form my own opinion about her moral character)."
*"My boss treats me like absolute trash, telling me to sign a resignation letter. There are a few options:
1.I don’t betray my principles, I sign the resignation immediately and go look for another job, using my skills, which, as we can see, are quite good. And if he’s an honest person, he might change his mind.
2.I file a complaint about his abuse of power as a manager to legal authorities or higher management (and that would be a completely different storyline for a drama). lol
3.I print out that damn document again. ahah
Here, the writer wanted to show that in the working world, people are desperate and ready to do anything (which has nothing to do with the guy or love), but it’s portrayed a bit awkwardly… it’s a drama.
And imagine the reverse situation: if a man lied while having a family and children, what would we say after finding out about his lie? As for what he would say afterward—‘so what? we just had fun!’—it’s obvious that he wants her to leave so he can forget her and move on. He cannot control his emotions and desires, and he cannot restrain himself from crossing the line
Well, I, of course, like a crazy person, binge-watched both seasons of "My Dearest" back-to-back. I cried,…
: the scene with the moon on the beach, the scene in the flower field with that “almost-kiss”? Spot on! I’m already waiting for the “forbidden love” phase to start with the hero, who, obviously, fell in love from the very first second. (Exactly the same!)
Well, I, of course, like a crazy person, binge-watched both seasons of "My Dearest" back-to-back. I cried, I was touched, I worried — the whole spectrum of emotions… and this drama is just a detox for the soul. It’s a good thing I even started watching it They’re both so wonderful that I can already feel my cardiologist somewhere sighing and closing his laptop… And the first two episodes are just an explosive mix of romance and chemistry
Currently, visual contents (I prefer to say “content” rather than “works of art,” given the sheer number of series and their production frequency) is not based solely on clichés, but also on actor resemblances. Here, our “Chaebol fantasy” is embodied charismatically by Jang Ki Yong, who takes on the mannerisms and look of Choi Hyun Wook in My Dearest Nemesis. Meanwhile, the female lead has the look of Jun So Min, combined with a much more nuanced and dynamic performance. And so many nods to My Dearest in next comment

(zero sugar, 100% explosion — because they were shaken up really well before ep3 )
