I agree with you, I felt sorry for the mistress when they revealed that she was the first woman he cheated on, and I felt bad for her later on because she didn't seem to know how to move on. I thought it was heartbreaking how pathetic she made herself chasing a man who cheated on her and married someone else.
I also agree about the abuse part, some people can't tell the difference between an abusive relationship and a bad relationship. Her husband is a piece of sh*t and their relationship was very bad but he didn't abuse her, not physically or emotionally, she thought it was her job to do everything for everyone and turned herself into a pushover. I find her very relatable and I feel bad for her, but she has more to blame for what happened to her than nothing.

This is only a theory but I think it's to make it more appealing and unique. "Bad Mother" is too generic for English speaking viewers. However, The Good Bad Mother makes you wonder how is she good and bad at the same time, so you end up watching it to find out. Koreans don't need an intriguing title to watch a drama. They have all the info they need about a drama before it airs, cast, crew, plot, broadcasting channel..etc. That is why they often choose very simple, generic, and easy to remember titles for the drama but end up changing their English title.

You realize they raise them for their meat, don't you? or else what is the point of having them in the first place? Pigs are useless while alive (and to many even when they are dead), unlike cows, sheep and every other farm animal. How do you think they are making a living? They are definitely not their pets.

I know she was improving as an actress, but the award isn't for "who improved the most". A nomination on its own is rewarding enough. Maybe she will get it next time when she outdo her peers.

I don't have an opinion on who deserves the award, I just assume that everyone who got their awards deserves them. It's an awful thing to work hard and get an award just to hear people say you "stole" it.

What an aggressive way of sharing your opinion. If you want my honest aggressive opinion, Suzy has never been a good actress, let alone "best actress". Everyone who got an award deserved it. Suzy can't be entitled to every award in the world just because you like her, especially since she is barely an actress.

Don't watch the drama then. Seriously, I don't follow any of them but man you have some outdated views. She is almost 30, and you treat her like a child who doesn't have a mind of her own. It's not even like he is some ugly old geezer, he looks the same age as she does or even younger. If I didn't look up his age, I wouldn't have thought he is a year above 35, and even that is pushing it.

He is bad, but not "that" bad. It means he is not as bad as you said, because you said "he doesn't deserve to be called a human". Humans cheat and lie, he still didn't lose his humanity. To be fair, she married him knowing he was a cheater, and she was in fact part of it. He is old fashioned, that is why he listens to his mother even when she is being irrational but he still cares about the mother of his children which is humane, and let's not forget that the only reason he married her in the first place was because he was old-fashioned and thought he had to take the responsibility for her. Being old-fashioned can be a good thing or a bad thing. I learned as I got older that I cannot blame people for taking advantage of me when I let them, it's just how people function. Instead, we should say no whenever we don't like something, this makes people who love/care about us aware of what we don't like and they won't expect it from us, saying yes to everything then blaming them for thinking it's okay to accept our yes is unfair. No one can read our mind. Little by little, her family will stop being dependent on her to do everything for them.

He is mean but I don't think he is that bad. Sometimes we allow ourselves to be a push-over for the people we love/care about, and we don't realize before it's too late that this is not the way we get their love. Cha Jung Sook allowed her family to walk all over her and now she is putting her food down. The good thing is that they don't seem to object over her transformation which shows that they actually care about her but they were too comfortable with the previous arrangement that they ignored her struggle.

I don't think it's weird at all especially since they didn't act like they were of the same age. She was only 14 (in real life) when he was born, not even an adult, and she is quite fit for her age.

Whether you give them for adoption or give them to foster care. You are still taking them away from their family. And about living in poverty, I'm speaking as a child, not as a parent. As a child, if I were to be given a choice I would chose staying with my family (if they are not extremely abusive). I'm not the country's property, I'm a human being with feelings who like to feel like they belong. Ask the involved children, see if they feel the same way before forcing them to leave. Children do not like to feel like outsiders in their homes. That's why a sibling saying "you are adopted" is considered by children as a form of bullying. Foster care is even worse, not only they don't have the same race/religion but they also don't have the same name. It is a necessary evil, and should only be resorted to if you are out of options. Please understand that I'm not criticizing a country or a whole continent, I'm merely expressing my opinion about a law that favors the rich/well-off in my opinion. You are always welcome to have another opinion.

It's funny that you think you are entitled to speak for a whole continent even though I didn't specify a European country by name. But since you seem to be throwing the idea that it is a myth. It's confirmed in the news by the specific country that they did in fact separate families from their children and gave them to foster families, the reason though remains unclear (and the families are "welcome" to object and go through lengthy exhausting legal process to take their children back), but it is a fact that in that country's law, children can be separated from their families if they are struggling to provide for them, in other words, you don't have the right to build a family if you are poor and you don't have the right to keep your family if you became poor. My point remains as it is, I would chose my family over money any time, I won't replace them with a rich family even if I had the choice, too bad those children didn't have a choice.

Yeah, it's natural to feel some guilt as a human if you have a conscience. But it's not something you hide like you actually murdered her or "blue-whaled" her (as in the blue whale challenge). I always thought because of the way she and everyone was acting, that she must've said something like "I will kill/torture your kid if you don't go now and jump in front of a car", but the real conversation turned out not matching how big of a deal they made it seem to be.

I thought the original poster didn't watch that episode since they didn't seem to have heard the phone conversation so I was mindful of spoiling the episode they didn't watch for them. I sometimes ask questions after watching an episode then I get a reply with a spoiler tag with something spoiling the next episode for me, I only figure out it's not a spoiler for the current episode I'm in after it's too late.
