I didn't watch those. Thank you for the recommendation. I gave up searching for KDramas for women reaching 30 or in their early thirties because there are barely any. Female leads are usually struggling with marriage life in their mid to late thirties, or youngsters looking for casual dating, and I'm past the phase where this kind of dramas make my heart flutter, it's just getting annoying at this point, that's why I resorted to action/thriller dramas instead.

I thought it would be silly but it turned out to be more mature than I thought. I really like it so far. The female lead is as relatable to me as the female lead in Another Oh Hae Young, I rarely find female leads in KDrama relatable. They are usually either too young or too old. I fall into the awkward age group that is deemed too boring for TV.

I get what you meant now, and I agree with you but I think it’s more of the writers’ fault. They wanted to show some nice people to reflect on reality but their participation in the game itself isn’t what a nice person would typically do, but you could say he is a conflicted character to excuse his behavior. I also don’t think he really grasped what it meant to participate, he kept talking about winning together and sharing the prize money but that wasn’t an option in the game.

You can see the man fully nude from behind. There are also some real nude people lying around as "art objects", all from behind.

I don't know why some of them have this idea that they can win together when that isn't a possible outcome in the game, since the game cannot be stopped unless majority voted to stop it, and if they did the money goes to the dead ones. There is no possible outcome where two can share the prize money unless one of them is dead and the other gives their share to their family.

There is male nudity + (same-sex) sexual harassment in the 7th episode.

I don't agree that the MC has no sense of reality. He just has a different type of character than what you find relatable. Fact is that there are those types of people like Park Hae Soo's character who put themselves before others and think that their lives matter the most, and there are those like Lee Jeong Jae's character who think every life matters and hesitate when they find themselves choosing between their life and others' life, they are choosing between death and living a life where they killed someone after all, so it's not an easy choice for everyone. There are also those who don't value their life at all like the people who chose to sacrifice themselves without hesitation and the people who chose suicide. They are all real people, regardless of how different they perceive reality.

The first episode stressed me out even though I knew what was going to happen. I think I need sometime to pull myself together before watching the second episode. Now I wonder if 40 million dollars was worth it, it seems insignificant when you know what at stake.

I'm almost sure he didn't. To act that clueless, one must be one hella of an actor, and I don't think Gary is that good. He easily gets caught when he is lying.

If you are afraid that if you didn't like the first episodes you will not continue watching the show, pick an episode that is a fan-favorite and you will find plenty of ranking lists out there. Most liked episodes aired between 2011-2015. But I do recommend that you start from the beginning and give it time, it doesn't need much time to get into it, I personally got really into it starting from the 19th episode. You will find that it's worth it to start from the 1st episode to watch the members grow into their characters, since you will end up going back to earlier episodes anyway.

Good drama, but beware that there is sexual harassment (verbal and physical), male nudity and suggested masturbation. I wasn't expecting to see that in a Korean drama.

She isn't my actress. I only saw her on one drama, but as an outsider, the amount of bullying she got is sickening. I don't know if what you are saying is true but direct your anger towards the agency that abandoned someone without proof, not towards someone you don't know if they were telling the truth or not. you are also "not sure" if she was lying but you are also "tainting someone's reputation". You still don't know if the idol is innocent. You don't know her personally! And the actress didn't kick her out of the group, the agency did.

In the official IQ test JongKook scored higher than JaeSuk though. JaeSuk had an IQ of 114 and JongKook had an IQ of 136. I'm pretty sure they were focusing on crystalized intelligence (book knowledge) and not on fluid intelligence (ability to solve problems and understand things) in this test, while in the official test Koreans take in school focuses more on fluid intelligence, that's why JongKook had better scores in that test. It's quite apparent that JaeSuk has more knowledge than JongKook but JongKook can use his knowledge way better, so he is cleverer, and it really helps that he isn't ignorant, he is the second best when it comes to knowledge, and that's because he only focuses on getting the knowledge he can use. JaeSuk's knowledge is quite useless for anything other than quizzes and trivia questions, that's because he gathers a lot of information and hardly knows how to use them, he can only recalls them when someone askes. It's weird that they are so hung up on a test that changes scores and ranking every time you take it.

Stop bullying this woman! If your idol is innocent or at least talented, their career isn't over yet. I mean women-beaters and child rapists have managed to rise after their scandals, your idol with childhood bullying scandal has a better chance to overcome theirs if they have the talent and the support. You saying that your idol's career is over is a proof that you don't actually have confidence in them in the first place. So instead of bullying their alleged victim which doesn't help your idol by the way, it will only make them look bad since people will see them as an "idol bully with toxic fans who follow in their idol's footsteps", go support you idol by sharing your encouragement and kind words.
This woman shared a story with nothing to gain, she didn't even mention her alleged bully by the name. So, stop saying she is lying when you don't actually know if she was. You don't know anything, so don't act like you do to spread hate towards her. "Her classmates came to her defense"? Since when "He can't be a rapist since he didn't rape me" was a good argument to make?

I didn't find him annoying, but I didn't pay attention to him. His kind of humor isn't what I find funny. When he appeared on the show with Sung SiKyung, I laughed more at SiKyung's jokes than his jokes, and that's saying a lot since I watch a lot of SiKyung's shows but I've never considered him to be the funny type. The whole 565th episode was humorless (for me). I understand that Koreans like these types of jokes though. They seem to prefer them over what international viewers usually think is funny, and I'm glad they are trying to appeal to them since it will help keep the show going.

I like all members but my favorites are Jong Kook, Haha and Kwang Soo. I have my favorite teams or pairs mostly, I like some of the members grouped with each other rather than liking them individually.

I thought I would have a hard time adjusting to his departure, but I still enjoy the show. It's carved into my schedule, I can't even stand a one week hiatus, and I can't find one thing that's better to watch during the week. I get where you're coming from though. I would've probably dropped it if all my favorite members dropped out of the show.

A female idol who is not a perfect angel? That's bound to upset a lot of people. Irene is a good example of how even a little bit of attitude can turn a whole nation against a female idol, and I don't think male idols are safe either. It's depressing how much they want them to be flawless.
