Pat indirectly confessing to Pran through his audition and technically losing the bet because he just couldn't hold his feelings inside anymore BUT also doing it in a way that gives Pran more time and doesn't pressure him to confess is top romance for me. And then when Pat had the opportunity to officially win the bet, he suggested something he knew Pran wouldn't do so that he would back down because Pat knew Pran was doing it for a favor and not because he was actually ready. So he showed up by himself without having made Pran lose the bet. He showed up because he loved Pran, not because he wanted to win. Guys. this is peak romance.
the best part of this episode was that it wasn’t just fluff. every scene had so much meaning… which made the fluff actually get to our hearts. ughhh why is it over already
After rewatching the episode over 20 times (not joking), I've reached a conclusion. One of my favorite lines during the rooftop scene (it's impossible to choose only one LMAO) was when Pran said "Pat, you've got to stop doing this to me". Pran has known his feelings for Pat possibly since high school and never thought Pat liked him too (but it seems that Pat might have felt the same way since high school too, he was just directing those feelings towards Ink all this time, like she told him in this episode- he didn't even remember about her until she came back HAHA). Pran isn't chill or carelessly straightfoward like Pat and he has always tried to draw a line between to them to avoid further problems between their families and friends AND to avoid getting hurt. But Pat, like the little dumb puppy he is, kept crossing that line and acted way too friendly towards Pran, in a way that he didn't towards his other friends. So Pran, on the one hand was wondering if his feelings might be reciprocated because Pat always acted flirty with him, but on the other (much bigger hand) he kept telling himself that he was misinterpreting the signals because he had seen Pat with Ink multiple times on "dates" and Pat himself had told him he liked Ink and Pran is a boy (Pat is straight- at least from what he know so far) so the chances of something happening between them were small from the start, even without the "sworn enemies" thing. However, in the rooftop scene, Pat was once again being ambiguous and telling him that he was pretty much jealous, and Pran was like "Dude????? Why do you act like this with me, differently from other people, when it's impossible that you even like me and there's nothing between us?? You even claim to like someone else!!". Pran was tired of wondering and hoping and was literally begging Pat to stop confusing him and hurting him further. But when Pat kissed him he realised that yes, his feelings were indeed reciprocated. I think one of the reasons for this line to hit this hard is that it matches their song perfectly! "Are we friends or are we more? Friends don't act this way with one another...". Also, Pat has always acted that way with him which supports the theory that they both liked each other since (or maybe even before) high school, but Pat was clueless (AS USUAL).
Like everyone else, I'm absolutely obsessed with the rooftop scene and I think I rewatched that episode about…
His voice... the tone he used during the fight scene literally shook my insides!!! Everyone always assumes that Nanon is the best actor out of the two (maybe because Ohm always plays a more playful, childish character) but this episode just proved everyone that they bring the best out of each other and that they go together like sugar and water.
Spending the week watching reaction video, and I already am re-watching some of them and it's just Monday!
S-A-M-E. I've rewatched the episode 10 times already and I've watched all the reaction videos out there in every language possible. I don't know what is wrong with me... the power episode 5 holds!!
no he definitely wasn't gonna confess, or if he was, pran didn't have a clue, he doesn't think pat likes him during…
Some people pointed out that Pat walked towards Pran as if he was going to kiss him but I just saw it as a "I want to drop the act and stop pretending that we hate each other. We even wrote a song together, we have a more intimate relationship when we're alone" type of thing...
Guys, what do you think happened in that scene with Wai in front of their residency? I've seen some people say that Pat was going to confess his feelings and Pran realised that and tried to get him to shut up in front of Wai. But in my opinion, he just wanted to tell Wai about the song that they wrote together because he was hurt that Pran performed it without him (and jealous ofc). I don't think Pran thought Pat was there to confess his feelings; I think he just wanted to hide the fact that they knew each other in high school and even wrote that song together (to avoid further conflict among their friends). What was your interpretation??
