Wow, I completely disagree with most of these comments. I think this season was wayyyy more fun than season 1. Of course I was frustrated at some players and found some situations unfortunate for the players I liked the most, but that’s why it was so fun to watch. And no, Hyungyu is not a psychopath for wanting to win. What did he do that’s so terrible? He never forced other players to do anything they didn’t want to do. And he apologized at the end for his behavior, and in my opinion he didn’t have to apologize for being intelligent and playing the game according to its rules lmao, he’s just way ahead of everyone else. He apologized because he knew the other contestants were a bit baffled and not rooting for him as much as they were rooting for Sohui. They’re all super smart and accomplished people, so don’t worry, they’ll be okay, it’s just a game lol some people need to touch grass because what if these contestants saw the comments? What about the production team who clearly tried to fix the problems with season 1’s dynamics. The cast was way better, more well-rounded and focused in the competition. If some people used their brains for critical thinking, they wouldn’t be hating on contestants of a GAME. Even players like Kyuhyun and sohui, who honestly frustrated me a bit for being emotional players, have their own reasoning and have the right to play the way they think matches their principles. Grow up, this is literally why we can’t have nice things. Let’s just hope the production team keeps innovating each season.

if there is no season 3, then the ending was very rushed and weak for me. but I guess this drama's charm is the daily life moments and the human connection in this specific environment so it's not like I hated it either. Overall, I liked season 1 a bit better.

I know nothing about Korean language so please bear with me. I am wondering if they are talking Busan dialect…
Hi! I live in Korea and speak Korean. Out of the main characters, only Haejun speaks in a Busan accent. His mom too! And the school friends (the couple and the doctor who likes Juwon).

Currently on episode 5 and very unimpressed. The FL doesn't convince me at all... although I really like KYJ this character does not suit her IMO. And I feel no chemistry between the two leads. The comedy is cringey and like old style. Seen that done that type of narrative. Very disappointed TBH so I'm just gonna skim through the rest of the episodes.

How did you manage to write down every single one of my thoughts........ I'm a huge fan of BWS so I was infatuated with this drama and rated it high but now that I've fully digested it I'm so disappointed lmao even when I finished it I knew it had lost the spark after episode 5 or so but now I can pinpoint what I disliked more clearly and you just said it all. Damn, rock on you iconic legend!

I understand your point but I want to argue that connections among players was also part of the game. Dongjae…
I agree that it would have been better that way! It hurt when Dongjae went home. I just think that it's also a skill to use all the cards you have at hand, and Orbit knew exactly what to do with the less skilled players – I think they were the ones who should have had consciousness and understood that if they can't survive with their own skills they should go home. I definitely enjoyed Dongjae and Seokjin's playing style way more and I was glad that SJ ended up winning the whole thing, because they knew when to ally and when to play individually, and also weren't sorry for eliminating those they thought were supposed to be eliminated (SJ was iconic for Yeonwoo's elimination). But since there weren't rules regarding alliances, I still think Orbit was an interesting player. who most likely manipulated everyone to get to the final (even that last team game – I doubt that was a mistake lol). But it made sense for me that he would do that because why not? It ended up making the game more interesting for me, because if he hadn't created those group dynamics it was obvious who was getting eliminated first. I get the frustration though, so I can only hope they choose more balanced players for Season 2 and not players who are super smart at their own thing but not really at this type of game.

Title The Devil's Plan Spoiler
GOD I have A LOT of thoughts about this show. But to make this short:- Seokjin deserved to win.- Seokjin and Shi…
I agree with everything you said, except maybe Shiwon – she was a bit annoying to me because I think she used other players a lot and got merit where she didn't have much. Like in the first game where she didn't do a great job or the fact that Dongjae was the one who told her about the pieces and then she went to SJ and made it seem like she was the one behind that idea. I didn't see her do anything that insane, it was always someone else doing it for her, basically. But the rest, I completely agree. I even agree with ORBIT's strategy of using others and he probably even lost on purpose so he could go to the final. But I also think these dynamics were meant to be part of the game and Orbit played that super well. Also the way he always almost touched the end of the well and still made his way back up again was very impressive. Super intelligent, that's a fact, even if a fake samaritan. I also think that Guillaume just had bad luck and Dongjae sadly lost because he lacks some social skills ? IDK how to put it but in this game it was clear that alliances were being formed and he didn't manage to portray himself as trustworthy enough. If the game had taken a different route and the players had been less dependent on alliances he would probably get to the finals IMO.

Title The Devil's Plan Spoiler
It's crazy how the talented ones like Dongjae and Guillaume got eliminated first while there were 3 or more players…
I understand your point but I want to argue that connections among players was also part of the game. Dongjae had insane potential but lacked a bit when dealing with other players, which led to his elimination. I truly hope they bring him back because he was soooo entertaining and mesmerising to watch, but I think your comment was a bit harsh on Orbit. He played his game and got the majority on his side, whether you think they were freeloaders or not, and I think there is merit to that. They're all smart so it was a matter of making the right moves, including alliances, at the right time, and Orbit did it well.

Review Lovely Runner
I definitely agree with this review! Of course the focus is on their relationship but just dismissing other aspects like her disability and his depression (we don't even understand how we had got to that point), his love for swimming etc made the story quite repetitive and flat at times.
