im in the middle of the second episode and this show is so good... WHY DIDNT I WATCH THIS EARLIER???? the acting so realistic and touching, the story so cute and well told, the way the scenes are filmed, perfect angles, stunning story telling- pls there are tears strolling down my face because of how good this is

guys, i don't think he will die at the end... I don't know if I misunderstood but there's a scene in here (after MM sees DK fighting with her brother) where he tells her that he can't die aka that she can't kill him. I think the only way he would be able to die is if the whole world dies (because people are the reason for his existence, as well as the deity's, so if all humans die they will disappear as well). Even if MM is the most loved "person" in her life, I don't think he will be able to die... At first, I thought he also wanted the FL to fall in love with him so that he could die at the end (a win-win situation since she would save her brother and survive and he would disappear) BUT if that's the case, then why would he keep provoking her and telling her all these horrible things like "Should I kill your brother?"????? If he wants her to fall in love with hims so that he can finally die, why would he treat her like this??? Or is he just moody? LOL Now I'm not so sure... So, to sum up, my theories are: 1) They both want DK to fall in love with MM so that he can finally die. And if this is the case, DK might try to save him by using her second wish like "I want MM to live". But if that was possible she would use it with her brother too... 2) The ML knows he won't be able to die even if he's the person she loves the most so he wants her to wish for the end of the world still because he really wants to die or if he can indeed die, he'll still want the end of the world because he despises humans in general and wants them all gone. 3) The contract is "the person you love the most will die if you don't wish for the end of the world before you die" BUT is MM even a person? He keeps saying he isn't human like her and that he can't die so like...
A question: is the deity trying to break them apart or make them end up together??? hard to tell... Another question: He was the one who created this contract, right? So why can't he simply decide to destroy it???? Especially if both decide to destroy it... But then the FL might still die because of her illness, since MM could only help her because it was his birthday and he could grant her a wish... right??? what even am I saying TT
The only thing I don't understand now is that deity... why was she getting close to the FL?? And why did the ML kind of freak out after talking to her and told the FL that he didn't care about her etc when he clearly did?? Was he scared that the deity would hurt her????

Ela sempre quis ir para o palacio e se casar com o rei mas quando chegou la entendeu que ela era apenas uma peça no jogo. Então ela a um determinado momento diz que se perdeu ela mesma porque ja nao era mais uma pessoa mas sim uma arma. E eu tambem nao entendi o que aconteceu com a serva... mas acho que nao foi morta.

Yesss!! It's such a shame. Every time this show crosses my mind it makes me upset lol. Even if they were to end heartbroken and away from each other, it would have been better than this meaningless ending. At least that would mean they loved each other and that Bong Hwan went back in time for a reason. I feel like I watched the show for nothing because what was shown throughout the whole thing was completely denied at the end. I'll never get over how dismissive of their relationship Bong Hwan was. He just saw the King as a friend?!! I refuse. And So Yong at the end annoyed me a lot. Nothing against her but she should have died when the chef went back to the future. Her character is so foreign to us and to the King himself that it doesn't make sense she comes back to life and gets the man. No one can convince me she was in control of the Queen's emotions, even if the chef started hearing her voice in his mind instead of his. Nope. Never. Sorry for yet another rant but I am furious still.

ughhhh I feel you. I can't help but feel like it was meaningless. In the special episode (that I refuse to watch but have read about) it's explained that both Soyong and Bong Hwan control the Queen's actions but that's so stupid to me... And they also show Soyong and the King meeting before she was chosen to become the queen and apparently he has liked her since then LOL It's so ridiculously sad, I can't even laugh
