The best part of this episode was the yearning so vividly displayed by both of them in every. single. scene. The kissing scene wouldn't have hit as hard if there wasn't a whole context and an amazing progressing leading to it. And the kiss was the culmination of all the yearning and confusion and sadness and- ooof it deserves an oscar, not even joking. And it was an ACTUAL kiss. One of the best I've seen in any series, not just BL. To think that these boys not only have to deal with the fact that they're both boys and that's a struggle on its own, but also have to deal with the hatred between their families that doesn't even have to do with them AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT they have to deal with their friends almost killing each other every time they cross paths... What a challenge! But really, I'm just so grateful that they started with a more childish style with all the typical fights and sudden sound effects but dropped that almost right away as the characters started getting closer to understanding their feelings. Such a nice progression!
Three times while watching I said out loud "This is such a f&cking great episode!"Then I got to Part 4. That left…
It made so much sense that Pat was the one to give in. Pran has known his feelings for a long time but he's the type of person to keep his feelings to himself and to be rather quiet and well-behaved, i guess due to how he was raised. But Pat is the impatient type, the fiery one out of the two, so it made sense that he would give in as soon as he realised his true feelings and wouldn't be able to contain them inside like Pran did. Ughhhh I love this series so much,I can't deal.
I HAVENT EVEN FINISHED THE EPISODE (IM ON PART 2) AND I CAN ALREADY TELL ITS THE BEST ONE SO FAR! IT KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER AND IM CRYING AT HOW GOOD THEIR CHEMISTRY IS LIKE IM LITERALLY SCREAMING RN AND TEARS ARE ROLLING DOWN MY FACE AS I WRITE THIS *breathes* Truly a pairing made in heaven!!!
The part when Pran is close to tears and Pat start listing everything he did for him. Omg I can feel the agony…
That was my favorite scene of the whole series so far... truly heartbreaking and impressive how you could feel everything the character was feeling through his expression only. Also, when Pran was looking at Pat sleeping I saw a small tear in his left eye. It broke my heart!
Episode 4 was the best one so far!! No unnecessary sound effects or stupid out of nowhere fights (which I had complained about before). Just plain chemistry!!! These two are made for each other (on screen, at least xD). Nanon makes my heart beat SO fast with his honest acting and Ohm is Ohm. Couple made in heaven!
Actually their fights do have reason, which we may find out later (or it may simply be interdepartmental rivalry). But…
Actually, my biggest complaint isn't the fights but the editing, especially the sound effects. It takes me out of the story and isn't a match for this couple's intensity.
I agree that the fighting is really tedious, but ITSAY was a drama and this is a comedy - you can't really compare…
I wasn't comparing them though? I was just saying I got tired of the same sound effects and other patterns that appear in every GMMTV show that, in my opinion, don't help the show at all. I would prefer if the editing was more professional like in ITSAY because this couple's chemistry is capable of and DESERVES something out of the ordinary.
Actually their fights do have reason, which we may find out later (or it may simply be interdepartmental rivalry). But…
Yeah, I understand that but I still think it's a pattern in gmmtv that I just can't deal with anymore. Also, there's no foundation for the fights apart from childish teasing but oh well.
Can someone please explain to me how was Pat responsible for Pran's transfer?
I don't think they explained this very well either but I guess it was because they were participating in the same activity (the band) and Pran's parents found out and transferred him away from their enemies' son.
I love their chemistry but I'm just really tired of gmmtv's editing style and their way of telling a story. Fights everywhere all the time for no reason, wasting time on useless scenes, weird sound effects that change drastically all of a sudden. I honestly think this story and this couple would have the potential to become something more professional like ITSAY, there was no need for all these stupid elements to complement them, It's a shame that gmmtv never grows out of this style.
But really, I'm just so grateful that they started with a more childish style with all the typical fights and sudden sound effects but dropped that almost right away as the characters started getting closer to understanding their feelings. Such a nice progression!
