the 50 ep limit is BS 🤧🤧 yes there are some that should be short without the fluff but there are others that need like 4-5 extra episodes to flesh everything out :(

All of the drama adaptations from Daomu Biji (Grave Robbers' Chronicles) have strong bromance between Wu Xie and Zhang Qi Ling.

Why?. Bromance is meant to be about a platonic relationship/strong friendship between two male characters (Even if one of them has a female love interest). A romantic drama between a ML and FL can still have a bromance.

It's not just used for censored BL adaptations from china (even when they clearly add a FL as love interest because they suck)

Err where did you get that from in my comment? Chinese BL is censored yes and there isn't explicit kissing but it is STILL BL. There's still romance focused on the emotional aspect and relationship driven.

It's like Mari said, censored BL is still BL. People honestly need to start using the word bromance correctly. Bromance is for platonic friends and in no way romantic. She (Mari) explained it better than I did though.

If it had gone too far it would've just gotten aired on China and not pulled off the air. This was aired in Japan so it's not bromance, it's BL romance but not explicitly confirmed just implied. It's all about the yearning

you need to watch ep 1-8 first because they're from the same drama...it was just pulled off the air before it could be shown completely. if u start w ep 9 u wil be very very lost

all chinese BL dramas are censored adaptations of the original work. doesn't make them a romance any less. calling it bromance on the other hand is misleading because bromance refers to deep friendship between two straight dudes or platonic. which almost none of dangai dramas are straight or platonic

it is open ending but only because we don't see his face or them interacting in the end (modern world), but it is heavily implied that it's a happy ending because they will meet and end up together. we just don't see it

i loved this season. much better than s1 tbh but mostly because i loved the friendships between everyone and the sibling dynamic between lee yeon and lee rang.
