This villain is so sick its so twisted and I can't even watch that much psychotic.
I FFW this villain and his blind servant.

JCW action and acting is amazing. as expected from Korean king.
FL also cute, bickering, irritating, adorable, loyal. all good.
Detective and father amazing.

But villains, good actors, but so creepy characters, unwatchable, and violence and gore.
I'm used to JCH in action, but this is very graphic, blood, and deaths...

I like his choice of roles.
Each has something that makes you love character,
My favorite is Room No 9 and Evilive, complete opposites. What a range.

Also, in Trigger, First Ride, he is not a main lead. And somehow he is the most remembered, most real and therefor most loving.

Detective irritates me. He could be pursing drug dealing gang, who brought drugs in the world in the first place, but no, he is after domestic wife, hussling to save her husband from cancer and expensive medical bills.

Unfortunately, this part is to accurate of the real world. So I can't blame writters.

still hotter and better villain than any in Hollywood production.

What bothers me is native english speaking actors, they seem a bit off, like they don't belong in the vibe :D

I like him. I prefer calm characters rather then over the top exaggerated acting. It seems more natural to real humans. But I get your point.
I didn't like ML in Island, for the same reason as yours.

actors fluent in english are visibly beginner level actors. its always like that. Vincenzo, as well, any drama they have english speaking actors...

ep 6, min 7, how tall is Kim Young Kwang, he is 2 heads taller then anyone else in the room of 50 people. he has to bown down so much when talking...

2nd couple here, one of the best 2nd couples

The amount of violence, gore and unnecessary sex is on the same level as GOT.

So many misogynistic comments, pretending to be comments on drama but revealing deeply misogynistic beliefs:
- actress that is above 35 is old?
- actress that had a baby can not have roles with chemistry?
- dramas with feminism are too much, should be strictly historically accurate. ( I guess these people could never enjoy Bridgerton, or Star Wars or something similar that is not historically or scientifically accurate). This is much milder alteration from reality, in purpose of entertainment content. Not a documentary.

In my opinion:
- this is the best drama I watched since The Double
- the best Emperor role ever (I also like Ji Chang Wook in Empress Ki)
- really good main couple chemistry, thank you director for that, I love their bickering that often appears as power game, and I love that they did not become couple early in drama like it usually is. So we have something to cheer for. This feminist FL and emperor the most powerful person of history ML, now if thats not enemies to lovers I don't know what is :D
- the cutest 2nd couple. His eyes, when he falls in love, at the woman that annoys him the most - so beautiful, I wonder if actor himself fall in love that moment, or is he just that amazing actor :) I need drama of these too :D
- very creepy layered villains. so irritating, thus the more satisfying when justice is served by the most ruthless beauty.

I've been shortly away, due to work, back at watching drama, now finally at my own pace :)

Now at Ep 10 - good law enforcement upon those who bully the weak is always so satisfying, especially when its led by a beauty, backed up by a powerful fierce dashing emperor.

The ones you choose for a post, are among my top 5 too :)

I also think this main couple looks so normal, as if it could happen to me, just a normal love story.

One of the best c drama kisser is Wang He Di, in Love Between fairy and D - in the episode before finale, EP 35, minute 35. but don't watch it before watching the whole drama, then you can appreciate how it came to the kiss. Definitely one of top 5 kissess of c drama.

And in my humble opinion, next Wang Xing Yue and Wang He Di best actors in the world. Hollywood is not even worth mentioning, maybe Tom Holland. That's it. :D
