for all those complaining there's not enough romance in some drama > this is a drama with intense kissing scenes. I've lost my breath when he kissed her. I didn't even expect that scene. He seems so proper and chilled the rest of the show haha
All in all, passionate romance seekers this drama is worth the look.

after episode 12 it becomes better, characters finally start showing layers, chemistry between main couple is also good. And dynamics of the plot is interesting.

And the second part you wrote is something many drama writers should be aware of. Viewers are not stupid, we see those time fillers, because they are out of logic for characters, and amnesia plots, back and forth, and stuff like that, Duke Su is so well written and performed, I can understand why the character is loved by both male and female fans.

And yeah the scene with her dead body, just so they could prove ML loves her so much is creepy, and I think I know which drama are you talking about haha :) When they write MLs like that it is just pitiful, not a proof of love, more like concern for his wellbeing.

Agree with you. We need more content from him :) he is so expressive and has very captivating presence.

I love her stare :) and everything else about her. She is so regal.

He really knows how to transfer emotions through language, voice, body language, facial expressions. And as many actors also do these, he on top of that has very expressive eyes. I like how director used that in The Double, you have a feeling he is looking right in your soul.

That's how I watched Lighter & Princess, many people in the comments told me it is the best chemistry ever caught on screen. And of course, since that is all what we look for in the drama I gave it a shot, and it did not disappoint. I binged it. They are on the 3rd place of this list. I watched many dramas, I usually don't even rate them if I wouldn't recommend it further.

Wang Xing Yue and Wang He Di still rule the list though :)

For me it was the idea that I liked such a red flag ML. That haunted me for nights after I finished the show.
He is the biggest red flag of all MLs of c drama. Its the cuteness he does it with, the charm.

Goodbye My Princess is on my list of masterpieces. And only 6 dramas so far made it there.

But be prepared, your heart will be broken several times. You will be shocked several times, and you will think about it for nights after it's finished.

I love the scene where SYR and Duke Su brush shoulders when they pass next to each other in the prison. and SYR realises he is going to loose everything.
The amazing, dashing Duke Su coming for the rescue.

But, in my opinion this romance is wow, their dialogues, and the way they play with one another through working together.

For example, he is so dangerous that not even noble families or thugs want to get in his way. And FL decides to use his power and reputation to investigate her case and get her revenge. He finds it amusing and plays along, untill... he starts falling in love. Then he suddenly doesn't wanna play this game of chess. Because the pawn has become to dear to him.

But to each its own.
Sometimes I also like pillow wrestling scenes and spoon feeding and passionate kisses :)

In my opinion it has a good pace.
In the first episode you have all for main characters intro. ML, FL, and villain FL and ML. And the main reason why and how all started.
Then it begins
Her motivation, her new cause, entagling who is behind her and her family misfortune. Duke Su is on the same path, and they are actually on the same quest. So by each situation you get a small satisfactory resolution and a clue for deeper, until the very end.
So there is no back and forth, but progress.
And they also gradually fall in love. So its cute to watch smart Duke Su fall in love, but also hurt FL healing and loving again.

Also romance is really good. Let say pillow wrestling like in short drama is definitely not something to find in this drama.
But, in my opinion this romance is wow, their dialogues, and the way they play with one another through working together.
