I think I'm becoming a huge WXY fan ðŸªðŸªðŸªðŸªðŸª. This is my favorite role of him, next to unbeatable Duke Su.
I like the FL actress as well, but the character could have been written a bit more with wisdom and calm, this way she seems a bit rushing to conclusions and hot-headed. But just slightly, I still like her.
I like the separated lovers trope. It's nice to see how will they find their way to one another.
In the beginning i thought you were going to say that the main leads had chemistry and was telling to myself,…
I like the ML as an actor, and FL as an actress, and the fact that they don't have chemistry is simply because of the plot. I just found their connection more like companionship, and perpetrator's husband was in this plot just an obvious chemistry.. But yeah, maybe he was too normal, and unharmed, to understand her to the depth FL would choose him and feel understood by him. Maybe we as viewers were also deceived by her revenge plan, where Ha Do Young was merely a pawn in her revenge. ML was definitely harmed as her, and they actually developed a symbiosis - they needed one another.
In short, from my neutral point of view as a viewer - FL had better chemistry with perpetrator's husband. But due to plot it makes sense she feels safer with ML.
I was scared. I've never seen it in any movie or reality. I might sound naive. But are there people that can get away with behaviour like that? You can't really bribe whole city.
second only to Flower of Evil in this genre. not a single dull moment.
The only two k drama I ever watched, and accidental choice. I was mostly guided by the algorithm. Obviously I should take your recommendation seriously :)
100% agree. I'm curious, what did you love the most about that character or how WXY plays the ML?
Oh yes, I think we're safe with WXY, he seems like a smart guy in real life. He will choose good roles and scripts :)
But I get your point completely, when I notice those pitiful, corpse kissing MLs, I drop the drama. :D
I even made a list with some really remarkable MLs, exactly by this criteria. Duke Su being No 1 of course. And I'm always looking for a new recommendations in this trope and field.

I want a boyfriend like that :)

But drama is amazing in-spite of that.
