I’d say to still check the Korean one, because the supporting cast (the evil couple) was excellent in it. It starts dragging by the end, but I like the ending for the evil girl more in the Korean version than in the Japanese version, so that is something to look out for.
Very rarely do I think remakes are better, but this was perfection! I didn’t care much for the ML in the original, but I should’ve known that Satoh Takeru would put something special in such a boring character! I loved the entire cast, good job everyone! I’m happy they cut that weird storyline with the fiancée.
Annoying that they cast a minor for this. I am sure this will be censored with no actual kiss scene (AS IT SHOULD), but the description makes me think that it should have A LOT of tension and skin ship. A potentially good drama completely ruined. Imagine how awkward it is for the ML for having to promote this with a minor 🤦♀️ and they are supposed to be a couple. Everyone has failed this actress.
I think this is left for the audience interpretation on how it happened, but it seems like NH is NF.
