CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY HEISHA GOT INTO SO MUCH TROUBLE ABOUT HIS COMMENT REGARDING THE COPYRIGHT ISSUE?…
this is how c-ent works. impulsively posting before an official statement is released made him and his studio look guilty -> more animosity toward them. being in c-ent is very sensitive - sometimes one wrong move could end your career and get you blacklisted. it’s unfortunate but realistic
just because it’s not for you doesn’t mean it’s bad
this is the most ridiculous and condescending nonsense i’ve ever read 😭 idk what kind of culture you were socialized in but where i grew up that is not how you speak about things you consume (i.e. media and food). in digital media there is a nuanced manner of critiquing works and while you have your right to your opinion, i also have the right to call you out for your lack of decorum. your opinion doesn’t hurt MY feelings, i don’t care what you think. but i don’t think the people who worked hard on this drama deserve their work to be perceived in such a frivilous manner. being constructive is not synonomous with being postive. there are negative things about the drama that have been pointed out in a respectable manner. instead of doing that, you chose to bash it in a way that suggest your opinion was correct. maybe you should be careful about engaging in discussions about tv shows because HOW you voice your opinion reflects on your character.
just because it’s not for you doesn’t mean it’s bad
that’s exactly how it works 😭art is subjective, there is no such thing as an objectively BAD drama. so for you to imply that it’s objectively bad without giving any sound evidence is disrespectful. i’m within my right to voice MY opinion; the difference is i don’t purport my opinions to be facts like you do. so take your opinion and go if you don’t have anything constructive to say
the sacrifice he's making for her is true love :( he is traumatized himself and he has nowhere to turn but he…
i don’t think she’s hurting him at all. the situation they’re in is the thing that’s hurting the both of them. to compare her to someone like pei jun is just nonsense. realistically there are things out of an ran’s control and she’s just doing her best to not fail her team. yanyue didn’t say he’d be gone forever - HE made the decision to leave and he did that knowing the consequences. he did it out of love but an ran shouldn’t be blamed for it.
Unlike WinWin, Jun was a child actor before being an idol. The difference is probably WinWin feels more natural…
that’s obvious , but you mentioned it in a way that winwin’s inexperience somehow would take away from his performance, which it didn’t. winwin is no stranger to performing arts. he’s been performing since he was 6. that creativity translates into his acting. yes junhui has experience in the film industry, but it doesn’t have any bearing on any comparisons between his and winwin’s performances.

one of my twitter mutuals said that when yanyue is cyber-bullied, it’s with winwin face 🙁 since winwin works in two entertainment industries i think that storyline hits different bc it’s very much a real thing people like him can go through
people gonna call this cliche but will go to watch a wuxia or school drama with cliche stories, rom-coms are their…
i’ve seen MANY dramas over the years and sometimes cliche is not bad. this drama touches upon so many relevant topics in our society that prove it’s not just some cliche romance drama. it’s a story about healing amidst societal pressures and challenges. at least that’s what it is for me
This one is dark and depressing. Heartbeat was romcomedy. The female lead in "The shadow" is a suicidal blind girl…
pretty sure they had to change the ‘japanese colonization’ thing that was in the novel due to censorship. so it may be a bit different in that regard but still same atmosphere

(i've watched up to ep 18) i think the reason why she is afraid to reach out to him and why she doesn't try to find him is bc she understand that yanyue most likely knows that the situation is hurting the both of them and that he probably wouldn't try to come back as long as his presence would potentially hurt her career. plus she has trauma from being left by pei jun so maybe she can't handle it on top of the pressure of dealing with her company's own issues. ever since pei jun broke her heart, she always vowed to put career before love, and she stayed true to it.
