this is because he studies acting at the central academy of drama - he's not your run of the mill idol actor who does acting as a side job. he is very serious about acting and tries his best. i'm glad to see the result because i enjoy his acting a lot.

the sacrifice he's making for her is true love :( he is traumatized himself and he has nowhere to turn but he won't go to her bc he knows his presence will only do harm to her career which he knows she values a lot - and people depend on her. but of course it's only hurting her heart. it's so unfair especially since both yanyue and anran are innocent in the whole 'scandal'. the only ones who have done wrong are the people who have gotten in the way of allowing yanran to have their love lives and careers co-exist.
