Just read through a bunch of comments below, and doing so helped me understand more fully why this show is a drag…
it's a simple high school drama. not every bl-related drama has to be to your standards of sex. if you're looking for something more mature then just say that. also the entire 'teen girl' commentary is incredibly misogynistic, especially considering that women are the reason the bl industry is able to thrive.
does anyone know why the soundtrack isn't on spotify yet??? i'm really bummed i can't hear it on spotify, especially the song that winwin participated in.
he's with the first sister kang ning. i believe they have the most screentime but like i said, i didn't watch every couple's storyline so i don't know.
congratulations WINWIN for ranking #11 on baidu's actor index! this is for actors in dramas airing in 2025, and he is the only one from the cast to rank here despite the least screentime and mangotv cutting his scenes!
Which couple is the most popular? I see a lot of buzz around shou hua/du yangxi and le shan/yanh xian.
leshan and yangxian ended up being the most popular. even yuzheng has thanked winwin and tiantian for making the drama so popular with their story. and winwin is the only one to rank on the baidu actor index of the whole cast
In the teaser for EP 18, Li Liang promises situ that if he helps him capture Shen then he will make sure jjx starts…
he is a vampire from birth who has spent a century with very little interpersonal relationships. he doesn’t know to process emotions very well or how to approach friendship/brotherhood. but i think at the end of the day he wants his brother
The fight between the brothers indeed did not make any sense. They could have let winwin just a friend not even…
why would they stray so far from rhe source material that way? it wouldn’t make any sense for situ weilian to not be his brother as part of shen zhiheng’s character is his past. it would be a giant plothole. this makes no sense and situ weilian would just be there.
Sigh…thought I can have more surprises from this script but guess not. The screenplay just make it that obvious.
since it was adapted from a novel, they weren't really trying to make situ weilian's true identity a secret to the audience. they dropped hints and made it pretty obvious. personally i think weilian may have aspd which they toned down a bit for the show. he probably hid his identity to have a somewhat advantage over zhiheng. then maybe he wanted to reveal it but zhiheng said he planned revenge for him and his mother, so he still hid it.
I am totally hooked on this drama, from the first scene of the first episode! I don't usually like Asian vampire…
situ weilian is one of the 3 central characters to the story and i'm disappointed he doesn't have more screentime. i know that a lot has been cut due to censorship purposes, and i'm assuming he must be in these scenes. i hope in the second half of the show he gets more screentime bc i love his character
episode 12 is the best so far i mean maybe i'm biased but i loved all the scenes with situ weilian. i wish winwin would get more screentime as main cast bc i don't understand why a support role actor is getting more screentime than he is...
