This reminds me so much of Healer or City Hunter. But with a thug lawyer instead. Only 5 episodes in and everything has already been revealed to the opponents. You would think Sang Pil would have wanted to maintain the secrecy of his identity. And his little hideout with all of the case documents/photos wasn't hidden well at all.
Just a bit surprised and let down that everything was revealed between the characters so early. So much for the element of surprise.
I've never seen so much stupidity and miscommunication or non-communication between leads. They get together and talk things out only to go right back to misunderstanding and not communicating. What the hell is wrong with these two and what is with the writing?
The 2nd female lead had much more screentime than both the male and female leads.
After enduring the first 25 episodes or so with all of the misunderstandings and non-communication the leads finally got together. Which lasted all of a couple episodes. And then back to misunderstanding island. Then they briefly communicate again only for that to be thrown out the window.
I want to pull my hair out. Why do Cdramas do this so often? I get my hopes up and they almost always get shot down.
Ending was disappointing to say the least. Last few episodes were disappointing. Good build up until that point though. I think the main issue was there wasn't enough story/plot to fill 16 episodes and they had to manufacture unnecessary and nonsensical drama towards the end.
He couldn't have shown Wen Nuan the house in the first 5 episodes? The first 25 episodes of this show were repetitive garbage where the leads have zero communication.
??? LOL of course the US version sucks - undoubtedly that's why it's lasted 7 seasons LOLSo this must be just…
Anything that lasts more than one or two seasons on the USA channel is probably decent, being completely honest. That channel is definitely not well known for its dramas. Probably more well known for re-runs. Burn Notice was from the USA channel and I liked that show quite a bit. Probably because Bruce Campbell is awesome though.
Kind of has me wanting to watch the US version of Suits now.
also, if anyone wants to know why they broke up. according the novel, her sister was suicidal after confessing…
The two leads are idiots. If this is truly how the novel went, it must have been a terrible book. They string along people in their lives (YiXin and Lulin) and never have an open conversation between each other to clear up misunderstandings.
At the end of the day, Suits will be Suits. Both American and Korean versions are awesome.
Most American shows end up sucking because they drag on forever when they could have resolved everything in a couple seasons. Just the nature of the American TV show industry.
One of the reasons I've started watching a lot more Asian TV shows is because they don't drag on. They have one, maybe two seasons, and everything usually get resolved. Move on to the next one.
This has been very good so far. I can't say that I've watched much of the American version though.
I was so lost at the end of this. There are jumps or context that is completely skipped over and we never see it. And it dragged heavily and should have ended around 16 episodes.
I have watched a few Chinese drama's but nothing has topped Ten miles of peach blossoms for me but other drama's…
The first half of Princess Wei Young was good, but not great. And tolerable. But the 2nd half was a bore. They repeat the 1st half, just with different villains. Still worth watching if you are a fan of Tiffany Tang.
One of the best dramas i have watched, beautiful love story! Actors were great especially Mark Chao, Yang Mi is…
I believe the "Heavenly Father" passed away and was a different ruler of the heavens. Maybe the first? It was mentioned that Dong Hua was also "Heavenly Lord" for a while, but then grew bored of it and let someone else take over, which I think is Ye Hea's grandfather?
This drama was pretty great. I love the gaming theme, because to this very day me and my friends actually play…
I've read the lead actress was quite sick was filming this. She looks healthier in other shows she has done. I agree with you that here skeleton figure does throw me off sometimes.
Always amusing to watch Cdramas and Kdramas and seeing a group of girls fawn over the male lead and hold up signs and gossip on the street. Has anyone ever seen that kind of thing happen in real life?

But who knows. Only one week in.
