Title Dear Mom
I'm far too lazy to write a detailed review for this show right now, but also want to leave a couple of thoughts…
I am in complete agreement that Li Qing Qing ruined this for me. Overall it was good (unnecessarily long), but Li Qing Qing's story was a large focus and I also really hated it. It was not enjoyable to watch and I ended up skipping through most of her scenes.

The two older sisters is what kept me watching it. Would have been nice to see more screen time for the youngest sister.

Would it have been that difficult to explain to us the meaning of the auras in first episode? 7 episodes in and I'm still completely lost. This drama has done a terrible job of explaining the underlying plot.

I don't really find her to be whiny or a self-centered idiot at all. She is a naive character that is overly excited.…
Almost like we are watching completely different shows. :)

I really can't take the female lead anymore.....when will drama writers understand that a strong independent female…
I don't really find her to be whiny or a self-centered idiot at all. She is a naive character that is overly excited. Her recent events have some impact, but she is an interesting and independent character.

Maybe you just have a bias against the actress?

This was surprisingly decent for a Cdrama Wuxia. Most are really bad. Eternal Love and a few others have set some really high standards.

The main characters and most of the supporting characters were good. Main couple interaction was great. I wish that southern princess' character Ah Li was developed more. And the ending was rushed.

A good watch though and not a waste of time. Definitely lower budget, but that didn't bother me.

Title Face Off Spoiler
This drama was cute and fun until the final 1/4 (8-10 episodes or so). Then it went off the rails like so many…
So Yun Yun was raped by her husband (Wang Xiao) and has an unwanted pregnancy. Wang Xiao's father even encouraged him to get her pregnant in order to force her to stay with him. There were hints of his father encouraging him to rape her. Why was this completely glossed over and even ignored at the end?

Somehow Wang Yi taking the knife for Wang Xiao helps everyone forgive and forget what Wang Xiao did? They completely ruined Wang Xiao's character in the final 1/4 of the show.

I liked the development of the rest of the characters though. Particularly the 2nd couple in Qian Jin and Yun Yun. And the main couple was adorable. The forced parting was simply dumb. None of it made a lick of sense. Why did his mother run away again? Why did he even work for his father? Ugh!!!

I liked Sha Tian as a character, but I felt like she also regressed in the final quarter as she gets jealous of Wang Xiao and Chen Zhen. It was so out of character based on what she had shown the entire show. Disappointed with how things ended for her.

Overall this was a decent fluff filler show until the final 1/4.

I have some additional comments, but they include spoilers so I'm going to leave a reply with those.

Like you see in a lot of rookie productions (Drama F ever has a big part in this), there are a lot of random cliches…
Thanks for explaining. The DF exclusive rom-coms have been really weak to date. If ONC is responsible for all of them they need to step it up in that genre. ONC has indeed had some decent thrillers.

Somehow it's turning into an average rom-com or maybe like longer than usual web drama... I like the leads. I…
Like you see in a lot of rookie productions (Drama F ever has a big part in this), there are a lot of random cliches and product placements just for the sake of having them. In addition to a bunch of cringe-worthy and cheesy dialogue.

Even as filler fluff I find this grating and tough to continue. I also agree that they need to get back to the fantasy element they first established and actually delve into it more. We still don't have much of a clue what the meaning or purpose of him seeing auras is about.

And forced love triangles/squares are my least favorite trope of all. Ugh! 2nd lead has already gone all creepy stalker/possessive.

Who is editing this drama? Seriously..they are cutting way to many scenes! It’s frustrating to watch. I was…
I thought I fell asleep for a bit, but I realized they skipped it altogether. Sums up the show well.

If you're gonna have a character as bland as Joo Hyuk you should at least have an actor who isn't actually blander…
Jeon So Min was in the remake of Something about 1% I think was the name. I thoroughly enjoyed it and she really made that one shine as well.

Funny seeing Han Sun Hwa play the exact same role she played as the jealous ex in Marriage, Not Dating. She grew on me in that show and I think she will probably turn it around in this one as well.

You should watch Chief Kim if you haven't already.
Different kinds of humor. I personally found Chief Kim more appealing as a comedy, but that is personal preference. This one is still good though.

Why do so many Chinese dramas nose dive around the middle or last 3rd and then have poor endings?

They start off well and are enjoyable the first half or two thirds and then die. Not all, but definitely quite a few of them do this.

I have just caught up. This might be the funniest Korean drama ever made.

Is anybody enjoying This?
I am. But I also am bothered with how bad some of the plot is. I like the fantasy aspect, but we are already seeing some cheesy plot tropes that aren't realistic in the 3rd episode. The kind of stuff I'm used to seeing in poorly written Taiwanese dramas.

Enjoying Kim So Eun's character a lot so far.
On I Cannot Hug You Season 2 Mar 13, 2018
Season 2 was a let down and it strayed heavily from the webtoon's plot. The 1st season was very close to the webtoon with some additional content that wasn't in the webtoon. The 2nd season started out alright and just went down a path I didn't particularly enjoy. They ruined Simba's character.

Hopefully this gets adapted in Korea as well, especially since it was originally a Korean webtoon.

Title That Man Oh Soo Spoiler
Well, it seems we have three good looking male prospects for the main female lead. I was all what are you trying…
I think the drink had the opposite reaction because it made the ex-boyfriend's true love come to the surface. And he was in love with another woman and seeing that other woman. And the drink gave him the courage to pursue his love.

I don't think it was meant to make someone fall in love with the first person they see or the person across from them.

Since Oh Soo can see the auras around people he knew that the guy was in love (didn't know with who) and that the girl was no longer that invested. So maybe he thought he was doing her a favor by bringing forth the catalyst to give the guy the courage to pursue love and marriage with the drink. It backfired since he was in love with another. But in the end she had already given up on the relationship like she mentioned or we were told and was just going through the motions because of convenience.
