Currently watching it on Croton channel on youtube. The romance between the leads are so cute!! It's between older…
There is definitely a real life age gap, but in the show Yang Mi's character is mentioned to be 27 years old. And Tao's character should be somewhat close or the same age in the show. Yang Mi definitely looks more mature and watching her in other shows I find it less believable that she can pull off the younger age. But I also like the chemistry between the two and the real life age gap doesn't bother me.
Well that wasn't believable at all. There is no way a diabetic kid is that stupid to keep eating junk food as he is on the verge of a diabetic coma/seizure. I guess they had to manufacture some drama, but at least make it believable. And then his father/doctor not being calm enough to treat him? Come on. The father has been a doctor a long time.
I think this one will be decent because of Yang Mi. Liked the first few episodes. I also like the male lead. Fresh to see a character know their faults and weaknesses. Not one of those arrogant rich male leads that doesn't even realize they are arrogant and cruel.
I don't know about this one yet. I love Kim So Hyun but why is it that since Let's Fight Ghost, they keep giving…
To be fair she was the correct age in Let's Fight Ghost. She was a high schooler when she was put in a coma. And she played that part well. But when she wakes up and we expect her to have aged 5 or 6 years it was less believable. Then again looks aren't going to change that much between 18 and 23.
She does have kind of a baby face though, so only time will tell if she looks roughly the same when she is really 26.
This was a decent show. But, like usual, it dragged for the last 15 episodes or so. I feel like this is a really…
There were also a bunch of things introduced and left unexplained. Like their marriage in Vegas. There was never really a resolution there. Some of the couples we see Cheng Hao helping could have been seen more and an ending for each.
The entire Gu Yao arc was pointless and draggy. Song Ning Yu weaseling his way back in was disappointing.
And we never saw much growth in Cheng Hao's character. He remained "nice" or noble idiot throughout. Was frustrating to watch.
This was a decent show. But, like usual, it dragged for the last 15 episodes or so. I feel like this is a really common theme among modern day Cdrama romances or romcoms. Surgeons had that issue, as did Across the Ocean to See You and Love Actually and Fox's Summer.
We see a lot of interactions between the main couple, but they never actually get together in this one until the last couple seconds, which was a real disappointment. Overall though the interactions between the main couple made for a lot of funny moments. 10 episodes could have been cut out and they could have focused a bit on the main couple while in a relationship.
First impression: boring. KSH's character is full of cliches. For many years, female leads where always portrayed…
I don't really get the "jerk" personality from YDJ's character, at least yet. More cold and difficult to approach. Closed off. But in the first couple episodes we see him being playful and teasing. Reminds me a bit of male leads from the Chinese novel adaptations from Gu Man like Love O2O, My Sunshine, and Come Eat Shan Shan.
At least I hope it doesn't turn into a changing a jerk into a good person.
Tough to make any judgements off of only two episodes though.
Really don't get the hype/love for Strong Woman. It was a mediocre show with a plot that derailed about halfway through. It was cute and fluffy, but nothing that blew me away. The writers just didn't appear to have a good idea of what direction they wanted to go with the show and mish-mashed a bunch of different plots together hoping one would stick. Disappointing to see Park Bo Young win "Best Actress". There were much better performances out there in other shows that were far more deserving.
I agree with you on everything. Sharon' character and plot could have been made better than this. I like the original…
Definitely agree that the writers lost their way on this one. It was alright for the first 10 episodes or so. But not anymore. I'll watch it just because I'm already invested and there aren't many episodes left.
Feel bad for SSK. She keeps choosing terrible shows that get destroyed by bad writing/plots. Just further fuels the netizen hate she gets for her acting.
I'm so loving the chemistry between Cheng Hao and Luo Yue. How happy they are when they're together! They're such…
Based on episode 36 Gu Yao has torn up their marriage document. It was sent to Cheng Hao in China, but as far as I know wasn't considered legal unless they acknowledge it in their consulate or in China officially. With it torn up, I think they would need to re-marry in China.
Of course there is the possibility the mail went through some office since it was from America and they were officially registered in China.
Is anyone else bothered when Song Ning Yu says "okay" or "sorry" a lot in English just to pass it off like he is a fluent English speaker? I don't know why but that really bugs me. It is obvious that actor can't speak any English except for a couple words. I wish Cdramas would stop butchering foreign languages so much.
At least use some native speaking consultants or something. Or find actors/actresses that can speak passable foreign languages. Cdramas really bug me with that.
Gu Yao is such a bitch. She clearly knew that Cheng Hao had feelings for her in college and took advantage of…
Completely agree. But I will say this. Cheng Hao's character is allowing her back into his life just when he is at a point to open his heart to a new person. He is making the mistake of always being the nice guy and never saying "no". That is a personality issue with the character.
Frustrating to watch, but it is a common drama cliche to create misunderstandings and drag the plot.
Can't believe they also brought back Song Ning Yu. At least they had Luo Ye recognize his character for what he truly is. Wanting to appease both sides and possess/control everything. Put the blame solely on himself to make himself look like a martyr and pitiful.
You pegged Gu Yao right. Narcissist. I think she also wants what doesn't belong to her just so others can't have it. Like Cheng Hao. That married/divorced couple are a real pair.
Great show. Great characters. Great development. Great story. Everything was great for me. The music and scenery was also great.
The only thing preventing me from giving this a 10/10 is the lack of replay value for me. I can't see myself ever wanting to re-watch this. So it get s 9.5/10.

The 2nd male lead was the most boring and pointless character in the entire show in my opinion. The 2nd female lead was fantastic.
