From the intro/ending it looks like there are a bunch more scenes that haven't been shown yet, so it does indeed look like there will be a season 2.

I'm also enjoying it. A lot more than early on though. I think the first 4-6 episodes were really slow and not all that interesting, hence the lack of attention. Not every series can start out strong and continue throughout though. At least this one gets better mid-way and hopefully finished strong.

Gets better with each episode.

Probably 18 episodes of her dating all the wrong guys while Chang Derek suffers. First couple episodes were cute though.

I think that played a big part in why I suddenly lost interest in the show a month ago. I even commented that I thought the show was going there. That just isn't that interesting to me. And it was predictable, which made watching the show more difficult for me.

Meh. There was a bunch of directions they could have taken the show.

One of my most hated tropes is the "relationship martyrdom" trope or "noble idiot" trope. It might happen in real life, but I'd wager it doesn't exist outside of TV shows, dramas, and movies.

Baek Hee was the first wife forced out because she couldn't give birth to a child. In her jealousy she switched the 2nd wife's child (Boon Yi) with a slave's child (Sharon).

Sharon ended up experiencing the same problem because she couldn't give birth and Boon Yi was then made the 2nd wife based on a reading. In reality Boon Yi would have been the 1st wife if the children were never switched and there would never have been any issues.

I completely agree. I lost interest around 10-15 as well. The plot just kept repeating and it wasn't an interesting type of repetition that I could handle sitting through.

I didn't even bother watching much of the final arc. This show had a lot of potential but didn't do anything with it like you mentioned.

Whatever happened to his mentor in prison? Why didn't he make the big comeback like you mentioned and pay him back? What about his mentor's family? So much they could have done with just his mentor.

The new girlfriend in every arc and her leaving him was frustrating to watch. And pointless. I feel like they were added just to extend the plot of each arc, but they didn't add any substance to the arcs.

There were so many directions this show could have gone and been successful. The writers chose none of them.

We share the same thoughts. I was hoping they would go in a different direction than the original. An adaptation rather than an outright remake. Far less entertaining to me. The multiple personality plot tool is great, but the Kdrama plot was really kind of a boring.

If they went in another direction I'd gladly pick this up and watch the 2nd half of it. But I have a feeling they didn't.

What a disappointment if that is how they end it. They cut half the story or more out. It must not have been popular. I think it was originally 30+ episodes.

Maybe the home country Korea will make a drama about it. I really like the lead actress though.

I have a feeling this show was made just to sell clothing. Feels like a giant advertisement. Some really nice clothing in it though.

I don't know how anyone could feel bad or sympathize with that sociopath of a character. She killed those two people, including the one she loved. And she wants to continue to ruin the reincarnated Boon Yi's life. There is nothing redeeming about Sharon except for the clothing she makes.

This one lacks quite a bit beyond the good villain. I'm still quite lost even after watching most of the released episodes. I think we are having to wait way too long to be given a proper explanation of how this all began. The writers are slowly dragging us along.

A shame because I love the lead actress. She should really do a fluffy rom-com. Would be perfect for it.

I have similar thoughts on this one. I just skip through the episodes now. Should probably wait until the end to skip through and see how it ends.

I completely agree that this show appears to have been written entirely with JJS in mind and nothing else. To see how well he can pull off playing a body possession of two personalities. It was cute early on, but is really irritating now and I hate the conman.

He just won't leave us alone. So irritating.

The grandma was the loan shark he got money from. I'm guessing to pay for his sister's education. The grandma probably also ran the hostess business or was heavily involved in it. He likely grew up around them and worked for them to pay off his loans. The girls from the hostess club are getting medication from the grandma.

With Bom getting sick I really lost interested in the show. Just skipping through the remaining episodes now. I hope they at least do the ending properly and don't have Bom magically recover from terminal brain cancer.

I was rather enjoying the direction of the show before the terminal illness though. It was just some nice fluffy slice of life. There wasn't much of a plot, but I was still tuning in every week. Now it feels like a drag to watch it.

Viki is notoriously slow for subbing. Which still doesn't make much sense to me since I pay a subscription to it. The Kocowa stuff they also sponsor is professionally subbed immediately, but you have to pay more money to access that. This is one of the shows that Kocowa didn't pick up.

So we have to live with Viki's notoriously slow subbing.

A lot of us are enjoying it. The plot is decent so far, so no complaints from me. I'm enjoying all the characters as well.
