Bravo to the writers smacking that cliche drama trope down. KMK went noble idiot and Jo Ji Ah blocked it perfectly. Intelligent writing that is realistic for once.

No. It has tailed off towards the end. And the writers are manufacturing drama for the sake of it. At least make it realistic.

I really hate it in a show when no one has a discussion among each other and instead take a stance without all the facts. All that needs to happen is for the two individuals to discuss it among themselves. Of course that never happens. Completely unrealistic.

Is that Aishiiteruze Baby? That was another one of my all-time favorite mangas.

I agree completely. This is one of the better TW dramas out there. There weren't too many frustrating drawn out plots in this one. And we got the ending we all wanted.

All of the adaptations of Man Gu's novels are great. Boss & Me, Love O2O, and this gem. The 8.1 rating is indeed a crime. This is one of my favorite series to watch and has re-watch value to me. I watch episodes of it often and come back to it at least once a month.

16, but there were originally 32. Reports of a 2nd season airing in February. About half of the webtoon plot remains to complete the story for the show.

Well he has had hallucinations, in addition to the nosebleeds. It fits a typical drama trope. I doubt they would kill him off if he does end up having cancer. But it could lead to loss of memories like they mentioned with the grandmother if she gets the surgery and survives. Serious illness + amnesia tropes.

They could not go that route at all though. So far this drama has been excellent and I wouldn't really enjoy the writer/s going down that predictable route.

I'm leaning towards brain cancer. But hopefully it is just a side effect.

Excited for this. One of my all-time favorite mangas.

It had its moments. It could have been much better though. It was very predictable and dragged quite a bit in the last 6 episodes or so. I think it would have been better to make this a shorter series if they weren't going to explore other plot points.

Well I hope they do a 2nd season. There are a lot of loose ends to tie up regarding the webtoon's direction. The 1st season followed the webtoon exactly, except for the added scenes of the organization hunting vampires for their rare gene. Since that appears to have been finished, they can now focus on the remaining season to cover the rest of the webtoon.

It quickly fades.

So many feels. I cry my eyes out nearly every episode.

The plot is a real mess. But somehow that hasn't bothered me much at all. I think I just like the interactions between the main couple. And there hasn't been any nonsensical drama to break them up that we have to bear for a few episodes.

This might just end up being one of those fluffy romcoms with some historical/fantasy undertones that never really heavily impact the main plot.

My issue with the 2nd male lead has nothing to do with the actor by the way. He is playing the part very well. It is simply my least favorite trope that is often included and I always hate these types of 2nd male lead characters. No matter which actor portrays them.

The nice face and nice exterior, but deep down they are these jealous, petty, insecure types. Always too good to be true as a 2nd male lead. Purposefully put in these dramas to stir up unnecessary drama. Out of nowhere they fall for the female lead. And interfere with the main couple usually by deceiving them and hiding truths. Plenty of dramas have these characters.

Sung Jae was Moon Soo's date. We see him in the ice cream shop. He is a little older than Kang Doo. He definitely died in the accident as we have seen Kang Doo being saved, but not Sung Jae. I have a feeling Sung Jae died in a collapse soon after Kang Doo was rescued.

I think the bank guy lost a family member or maybe it was his little brother in the ice cream shop. Obviously he lost someone in the accident.

Kang Doo was also not rescued until many days later I believe.

I hate the 2nd male lead more and more each week. Just a pathetic character. Well written in that regard though. He knows everything, but keeps Moon Soo in the dark. His father is largely to blame, but now he lets the blame shift to Kang Doo. What a petty, jealous, insecure character.

I really like the 2nd female lead. She is great support for all the characters. She has strong values and opinions. She knows what she wants.
