Rather she is playing a better role in this drama. The characters and plot were so poorly written in Bride of Habaek that none of the performances were good, including Myung Gong. People just fangirl over him.
I'm afraid it'll turn cliché because of the romance ...
That is my fear with how it has gone so far as well. I have a feeling we are going to get a heavy dose of 2nd lead for no apparent reason. He is already going out of his way for her, beyond being a boss, after hardly knowing her at all. He was going out of his way for her before he even met her. The definition of 2nd lead trope. Hopefully it doesn't last long.
I stopped on episode 6 because it didn't feel like the plot was going anywhere. Can anyone tell me if I should…
There really wasn't much of a plot. I remember waiting a month or two before watching the last 4 or 6 episodes. I had no interest to get back into it. The romance between the leads is really adorable though.
Maybe if the writer focused more on the adorable romance it would have been better, because there was no depth to the plot. I honestly would skip episodes 10-14 or 15 and just watch the last 1 or 2. You really don't miss anything.
Where did the haters come from???? I'm loving this - Jo Jung Suk is AMAZING in this drama! Nothing boring at all…
Nothing wrong with the performances. Just not that interesting of a plot and the conman personality is really grating. Maybe it will get better, but I'm not wasting any more time on this one for a few more weeks to see where it heads.
By the look of things people who rated probably watched the Korean version first and are comparing. Such a pity.…
I think many of us just don't want to watch the exact same thing on a cheaper budget. I didn't find the Kdrama to be all that great to be honest. It is a neat genre, but it should have been done differently.
Articles like these have me questioning my own ratings. Because I generally agree with these assessments, but my ratings don't match up.
The reviews you find written by users in the MDL page for a specific drama are the best I find to determine whether I should start a drama that isn't currently airing or not.
The main couple is so boring.... The only thing deserves to be seen in this drama, is the hostess character. Smart…
I was also disappointed with Ah Reum's pairing. They sort of became the comedic side relief.
I rather enjoyed the main couple and their chemistry. My disappointment was that we didn't get to see enough of them together. They get together in the 2nd half of the show and then I felt like most of the screen time was spent on the side character couples and Anthony. Just not enough screen time to go around. A show like this with this many side character couples should have been longer in my opinion.
Just finished episode 1. Is this about body swapping? Or some destiny deal? It feels like this might be a somewhat…
Reincarnations and cursed immortals trying to redeem themselves so they can move on to the afterlife. The main couple are the reincarnations of the two lovers that were wrongly killed many years ago.
This has a Goblin vibe to it, but the plot is a lot like The Legend of the Blue Sea (minus the mermaid and psychopath killer). We are starting to see glimpses of the past, just like TLOTBS showed us.
how come he is okie when he touches ji ah as a robot
The disease would be a psychosomatic one. Obviously not a real disease that I know of. So it is all in his head. He has convinced himself AJ3 is a robot and not a person. But with someone he know is a person he has the reaction.
Dropped it after the first 3 episodes. It is following the Kdrama version almost exactly. I was hoping for the same concept, but done differently for a new story. No interest in watching the same plot again, especially since I wasn't a huge fan of the Kdrama.
I'm not really enjoying the conman personality much at all. The performance is excellent, but meh.
Any more episodes with the conman personality will have me dropping this show. It is that bad.
They are manufacturing too much of the plot due to conman personality's ineptitude. The 2nd personality really hasn't been helpful and all it is doing is dragging the plot.
There are subs for ep 1-5 available, but it has been slow for the remaining episodes.

Good laughs so far.
