Not feeling the chemistry between the two leads yet...I'm gonna watch it for Yoon Park. He's refreshing here.…
Will be interesting to see if he can pull the role off. It is a similar type of role to the 2nd male lead in She Was Pretty. I haven't liked Yoon Park in anything yet, so maybe this role will suit him better.
I don't really understand the melodrama surrounding President Zhou (I think that is his name), the driver/IT guy. I get where Cheng Hao is coming from when the driver guy refused to tell him the truth about his real job, but not everyone else. Why would an Uber driver reveal anything personal like that until a relationship had really begun? He was driving a car at night for his own reasons. He should have been upfront with Cheng Hao, but this hiding of his real job from the girl he likes because she doesn't have a good impression of rich men is dumb. If anything I find it more impressive because he has been driving people around for his own enjoyment as a big boss.
We haven't reached a point in the show where his real job is revealed to the girl he is pursuing, but I have a feeling it is going to lead to unnecessary drama.
I don’t mind KSH taking on adult roles at all, but just not romantic ones (yet). She’s definitely more than…
I thought she did a great job in the Ghost show. I think she is an excellent actress and has pulled off all her roles well. No complaints from me. She can play a more mature role well.
If the ending will be sad.. the rating will drop drastically! People need happy ending especially for these characters…
I really hate when they a throw sad ending at us predictably. But this show so far has been really good. The writing is excellent. The characters are all deep and enjoyable. Even the 2nd female lead is a joy to watch. She isn't the typical bitch. So while I would be disappointed with a sad ending, it wouldn't cause me to lower my rating of this show. A sad ending wouldn't be predictable and I still have no idea if it will happen or not. They have done a good job of teasing us. I'm good with that.
I'm not good with them throwing a happy ending at us because the writers rail-roaded a good show and had to save the ratings with an illogical happy ending (I'M TALKING ABOUT YOU - TEMPERATURE OF LOVE!!!!)
Those of you who are complaining about the dramas pace, I understand why you feel this way. We as a human race…
You make valid points. But that doesn't really excuse dramas (writers) for dragging out many endings just for the sake of additional content (length). Drama is manufactured just for the sake of it. I'd prefer better story-lines, more character development, or anything else than manufactured drama at the end just for the sake of having it. It is lazy writing. And it happens all the time. We shouldn't excuse it.
I'd like to see more epilogues of the characters' lives after the culmination of the show. Just give me something other than putting us through hell for 2-3 weeks.
When it happens and I'm watching the show weekly I usually drop the show until after it is finished. And even then sometimes it is a real labor to actually finish the show. Usually takes me a few months to finish the show when they start dragging things. Or I outright drop it. And it ruins some really good shows in my opinion.
This has been excellent so far. And the portrayal of the possessive cheating husband, Song Ning Yu, is really well done. All he wants is a subservient partner. To completely serve him and be at his beck and call. He wants to control his partner. He seeks out the wild and independent Luo Yue and then tries to cage her. There are people out there like this. And they can come across as really romantic, but many don't realize their true nature until they are in too deep. My mom's friend just went through a tough break-up with a guy just like that, although it didn't also include the cheating. Scary how accurate of a character Song Ning Yu is.
About 3/4 way through now. Really enjoying the character development from everyone so far.
Taiwanese stuff tends to fly under the radar but yeah I love it. Light and funny so far with a good mystery story…
I don't think Tdramas fall under the radar that often. Most of them are very bad though. Poor writing, poor production, and poor acting. I've watched a bunch of them and so far this is one of the better ones to release in the last couple years. Keeps my interest every week and I enjoy the main characters and plot. It still has the cheesy Tdrama writing sometimes, but I can look past that because of all the other positives to it.
My best description of this show would be that it started out slow and finished slow. The middle bit was nice, but it never really blew me away. Found myself bored watching the last 6 episodes. I wouldn't really recommend it to others though because I never really fell in love with the main couple. And there wasn't much else going on of interest.
Cute so far. I'm not a huge fan of the main actress, but I think she has been type-cast into some boring roles so far. She was better in the Mermaid/Swimming show than the Fox's Summer one. Hopefully she is even better in this one.
wasn't this supposed to be only 16 eps? i think 20 eps are too much...
The plot has really slowed down lately. They have been beating around the bush when it comes to Sharon for a while now. The filler fluff content has been alright, but I definitely fast-forwarded quite a bit through episodes 13 and 14.
Dunno what it was but the English sounded robotic and made me cringe. -_- the walk down memory lane was really…
The boss guy sounded normal. Probably American. But when they put English speaking actors/actresses in these dramas they aren't usually very good, because why else would an English speaking actor/actress show up in a foreign drama?
I would prefer they stick to Korea if they aren't going to be able to get credible actors from other countries. Cdramas are much more notorious for using broken English and trying to pass it off like they are fluent.
I watched 6 episodes now, and it's getting boring. I don't know if I should continue watching this..... (also…
If you aren't getting into it in the first 6 episodes I wouldn't bother continuing. It was slow to begin, but around 6 was where I started to enjoy it more. But now it has gone back to slow and uninteresting near the end.
I also don't particularly find the main couple that likable. I don't know what it is, but they are kind of boring to watch. And the cutesy stuff was fun a couple times, but it grates on me as the series goes on. I usually don't mind the cutesy stuff, so I think it is just my opinion that these actors can't pull it off.
Because they decided to talk about EVERYTHING all at once?! It was weird.
Why was it weird? Something dramas thrive on is misunderstandings and a lack of discussion between characters. There was finally an honest and open discussion to clear the air.
Reminds me a lot of the movie Hitch. Which was a movie I really enjoyed. At least the main character anyway and the limited background known from the first few episodes.
The main leads have also had some cute scenes together in some previous shows as well.
Good cast also.
