I think abay and bce are both S+ production as far as i know when the casts were announced.

Per one of the tags, Yang Mi with XuKai and lots of kissess. I love seeing them together but many people seem to say they have too much of age difference.
Was ABAY a S or S+ production? How about BCE? Does anyone know? I'm curious. It seems to me that the only expensive stuff would be the car rentals in both, and the real estate rentals to use for their offices and homes.

The one with Leo Wu is a romantic one, not business though, the tales of Rose is a chronicle of romance and self improvement. So, yeah, none of them are business like ABAY...but you can say the same among the 5 ancient dramas, so none of them are of the same themes. Therefore, we're only looking at the numbers for all 10 of them...don't know if I explained it clear 🙂
They break up on ep 31. On ep 34, they meet again in Germany and HT will confesses to her that in matters of love, she's above all, and they ride together in the plane and HT gives JX a ride home. So, she sort of forgave him on ep 34. So the separation happens at the end of ep 31, and reunite in the beginning of34...so to me, the separation really are just 32 and 33.

I think given it some more times, ABAY may catch up...so like all the ones that are ahead of ABAY, most of them were shown before ABAY...however, i do see ABAY had slowed down quite a bit, so it may or may not happen...it seems to me that Strange Tales of Tong Dynasty may catch up ABAY cuz on the Chinese web site i watch, Strange Tales of tong Dynasty drama is very hot...but ABAY is doing well nevertheless. I agree with what Draco said. Xu Kai got famous before BaiLu definitely, and therefore, the director would have chosen Xu Kai first for the drama's ML. BaiLu just did the whatever Lovers drama at that time. I could not believe that BaiLu would have consented to such dirty practices...but if she didn't oppose to it, it means that she's approved it...so sad of her to slander a colleague because of money! Shame on her.
