No. XK didn't star, i.e not paired with Seven Tan in that drama. It was Jin Boran who was the ML. What some of the commentators said was that they thought that Seven Tan and Jin Boran in the drama "The Road Home" had a very good chemistry and i thought that some of those commentators said that the CP of Seven and XK in ABAY exceeded that of CP in The road home. I didn't watch ThebRoad Home, so i don't know...but I can tell you XK and Seven in this drama, ABAY exceeded far beyond what i thought they would. They are match from heaven (almost 😀)

It is an excellent drama, it will get very interesting as it progresses especially when the FL breaks up with her bf on ep 9 with funny scenes amd what not.

Oops, my mistake, so it should have been aired ep 3 on Wed's China's time (Each Th at noon). However, the ratings for ep #3, when I went back to the Vlinkage site, I didn't see it posted. I thought I saw that, I was mistaken. So, I guess, it's been #1 and #2 spots (07/31, 08/7, and 08/15). So, the #9 spot was on August 12 which was 4 days after ep #2 was broadcasted which is understandable...I did say it was a team effort (a team. of scaredy cats)

Yeah, i like the actor Zhou David (Da Wei)...I thought the pair was fun to watch and give the drama some comedy filled moments. The gal, I wonder if she's a singer or whether she really sang her songs in the drama coz she was very good at them.

Yep, that's the reality of filming...it carries risks...I wish they'd use more stunts but they try to save up their budget so the actors to gain favors in the sight of the directors they'd do those actions themselves I suppose.

Or it might also show that he (Chang He) values her very much whereas the other guy (HT) that she's been in love all her life has been rude to her and not giving her any consideration or whatsoever...quite a contrast though😄

They all ended up together and doing so well, even building an international standard type of hotel in the remote village of the mom's... the leads will eventually get married...so what else do you expect to improve the end to make it better?😀

This drama is a family genre. The leads have very good chemistry, i love them. The mom had quite a big screen time. The story is very good but if you're waiting for an usual love story then it might not be your cup of tea. This one keeps you in suspension about how the leads fall in love with each other, which to me was keeping it interesting. It was a very good watch for me.

@Rich, there are 2 types of dramas: short dramas literally they are classified as such whose durations are up to 24 episodes. The other standardized type is between 31 - 40 episodes. ABAY needs the narratives of its characters development and i thought they aren't long enough for me. I like large number of episodes, don't like movies so my preference is long dramas coz I like the narratives of the people involved. ABAY is an excellent drama with good stories but if you feel it's too long for your taste, there are many shorter choices for you, so go for it.

It's probably because of the leads good look. The Philippines love Miss Universe and all those competitons dealing with good looks...I used to like them (the Miss Universe competitions and its like) too so I kind of see their tastes. Xu Kai when he has more weight and get his cheeks a fuller look, it accentuates his angelical youthful face beauty that I have yet to see in other Chinese actors...it's too bad he's not told the right thing and he kept loosing weight and doing hard training which gives him a harder look on his face which I don't like. It makes him age so much faster.

Hahaha...so am i with Xu Kai. I just watch his dramas regardless who's he pairing with and I have enjoyed every single one of his dramas.
