og hallyu kdrama. I miss this genre, nowadays kdramas are so depressing

last time I watched this was more than 10 years ago, I still like it but I'm shocked at how women are portrayed in this drama. every single women character exists to support, assist, or better men. besides that the principal, the schoolgirls and the fl are objectified throughout. C cup this, D cup that. On my feminist scale this is a 0 but a 10 for old times' sake.

episode 11-12 was so good, got me at the edge of my seat

damn this was actually pretty good! the relationship between the two is refreshing. but the subtitles suck so baddd.

I liked this one but I could've done without the africa bit. left a bitter taste on my mouth, crazy to think ppl are that ignorant.

the fl is childish and unlikable rn. her values are fine but the rest of her character is annoying. hope it gets better

I loved the fl character here. bu I have to acknowledge that lu si made the character. if it was someone else this drama would'nt have been as fun. her expressions, wit, and voice really made the character. love her. she's one of the few cdrama actresses who can make a character feel real.

it was very promising and interesting but I dropped it bcs the ml was just too violent and turned me off

can't believe the ml is born in 2000 and was prob like 20 when they filmed this, what have they been feeding them kids

this is so so bad. to give you an idea of how bad the acting and writing were, I kept waiting for the actors the break to fourth wall bcs I thought they were character's playing characters, like this can't be it? this can't be that bad right? this is probably a transmigration story like W where one of the leads is a character but, no. its really just that bad.

it was cute, I like a good slow burn though I did skip a lot. I also cringed a lot whenever their lines where about design and art. they're way off in so many ways

ashes of love was pretty good! (but love and redemption is still at the top of my list bcs of sifang 😮‍💨 and the unexpected turns) I haven't watched acient love poetry, i'm leaving it for a good day when I feel like watching something that needs some brain power

and if you search up his photoshoots, in every single one he looks like he's either about to fall asleep at any moment or his manager forced him to be there. he's the embodiment of the lazy low effort handsome look. very stylish in my opinion 😌
