transmigration dramas are about to be the hot trend in the next few years. the transmigration/isekai hype from the manhwa world will soon reach the dramas world.
one of the few dramas where the back to back villain plots made me genuinly exhausted. I'm tired, mentally and physically. Never have I yelled "oh shut the fuck up" "not you again" "just die already" to fictional villains as much as I did while watching this dramas.
There are like 3 other Noona romance Cdrama's so you're very late lol
I already have My Fated Boy in my watchlist so I think its time for me to watch it tonight! I also think that if we're breaking stigmas, there should also be representation for different type of older women. Noona romance writers tend to write the most successful, gorgeous, rich super women to compensate for their age. Which proves how deeply rooted the internalized ageism and sexism is in our society.

thanks for the recs! I think, the wave of noona romances was very sudden and and dominated the romance genre all at once so a lot of younger teen girls became haters overnight. I personally don't care, I'm not young myself but I do hate when the whole story is centred around the "I'm too old for you, I can't date you" trope. It gets redundant. Especially when the whole plot is the ml chasing and the fl being insecure. It feeds into the stereotype of women have an expiration date.
In the past 2 years 1 in 2 romance kdramas is an older woman/younger man drama. People have started to make a joke out of it and calling them noona romances. Also its a trend in korea right now to date younger men. Some fans are a bit tired of the genre and some even hate them. I personally don’t care I just think its funny how they’re everywhere and have reached china
only in dramas do you see high level executive positions held by 28 yrs old. sadly those don't exist. in real life its receding hairlines and crusty, expired, decrepit boomers that have fossilized with their desk chair because they don't want to retire. Also I can't stand that hag who bullies the FL, where's HR? why does she care so much about clothes?
Beside that, I LOVED this drama. watch it watch it now. the chemistry and tension in this one is off the charts.
I agree this is waaay better than the oath of love
depends on the kind of romance you like. OOL is a slow, natural, realistic love that builds as they get closer and LR is "I've loved you forever", "there's no one but you" "I would die for you" kind of love. they're equally romantic but the kind of romance is different. also the ml in LR is extremely caring and supportive, he's definitely my fav.

in many many ways, but to put it in perspective when I watched ool my finger didnt leave the fast foward button whereas it was left almost untouched when I watched legally romance. OOL was comforting but LR was captivating, there was intrigue throughout, the love is at a soulmate level, the fl's acting is excellent (new fan of her), the legal theme wasnt too much and not misrepresented, i'm a sucker for elements of fantasy, the mc's communicate with each other a lot since they're both lawyers. Basically I like dramas that keep me guessing and OOL was monotonous.
