they're not welcomed in the industry but they exist in the wild. I have nothing against ZLY, I just think chinese beauty standards sometimes hinder some cdrama tropes. or at the very least a taller more imposing woman would make more sense, like in what world does a 5 foot 2 general make sense.

on a side note a lot of people are calling him submissive, but I don't think he is. He's the opposite of toxic masculinity. Its so healthy to see a ml character that isn't perfect, who shows his emotions, makes mistakes and even cries because he loves his wife so much. the traditional perfect mls in romance drama really arent healthy. I want to see more sentimental mls and less bossy, cold, unfeeling CEO assholes. this was so refreshing to watch.

in my 12 years of drama watching I think this ml is the coldest, most stone faced ml ever. mf didn't smile once lmao

why is the rating so low....i'm on episode 4 and this is quickly becoming be one of my favourites. it deals with feminist issues, the mcs are layered and complex characters, the set design is beautiful, there's a lot of heartwarming moment, comedy and intrigue. this is a VERY well done drama.

this drama is a fever dream lmao. the rating is a bit too high for what it is in my opinion, if this was released in 2022 it wouldn't be this high. I like dumb high energy romcoms but this didn't hit the spot for me, I think the childish fl is what threw me off.

that first scene where she tours the company and the board meeting scene were excruciating, but if its more fluff than business i’ll give it another chance. I just can’t stand when dramas portray boss women as arrogant, stoic and heartless women.

i'm sure this is good but I really can't stand corporate/business cdramas, theyre always way off that it makes me cringe. I watched beginning of this drama and it made me want to complain to HR for poor management and abuse of power
