netflix shows doing so well makes me sad about all the dramas on d+ and other services that get forgotten about and have little international recognition..π sure there are definitely hits here and there but the international buzz/hype is so prevalent with netflix dramas specifically. most ppl these days (more the general viewers and not drama fans) dont even bother with multiple streaming services. i hope that at least in terms of marketing d+ will put in more effort..
"Even if I insist it wasn't my decision, there's no escaping the blame. The burden always falls on the actors." something a lot of kdrama fans love to forget time and time again
"too caught up in looking 'majestic' on camera all the time" ?? have you seen his movies or even arthdal chronicles? this just isn't true at all if you look at his filmography. the roles in which he ~appears~ perfect are because they're written that way, that's what the characters recquire
do we know if they've met in person during their video game days or if they only ever met as characters online? i don't think they specified that yet (i also haven't read the manhwa)
k-media being sensationalist - as always. kdrama stans being parasocial about celebrities while knowing nothing about their private lives - as always. i'm going to hold your hand when i say this but if you *think* clickbait articles, some popular tweets and a video by a clout-chasing youtuber will tell you the exact details about a person's divorce, you are gravely mistaken, and also know nothing about the korean judicial divorce process. look up "at-fault based divorce" :) but in the end this is none of our fucking business. and yes, the movie industry is indeed struggling and there many graphs and statistics that prove this. only very few movies manage to hit BEP.
you can pry this drama from my cold dead hands
