i feel you so bad, he is SO underrated. i was absolutely shocked by how good he was alongside PSH and then finding out that he's barely known (with that face too!!) amongst the gp 🥲 granted TJFH was kind of his first proper breakout role as male lead, he's mostly done 2nd lead & supporting roles and none of the shows he was in had high ratings. i went down a rabbit hole and apparently it was so bad for him that he was depressed because of it and wondered about quitting acting since he kept having such large breaks inbetween projects 😭 also funnily enough, he's actually close friends with byeon wooseok bc of their model background. i really hope he sees the same success, he deserves it.

yeah that's what i thought too. maybe he and kang han na both vouched for him as they acted closely with him. if the director doesn't already have another actor in mind themselves and no one else is available through other connections then a recommendation from sunbae actors would definitely be the safest choice for them
oh lee chae min was 100% an internal recommendation (he has worked with kang han na, who is also cast here, in junhos new drama cashero) thats probably how they were able to find such a quick replacement. rookie actors are often cast through personal connections. i personally don't mind the age gap if he can back it up with good acting but let's just wait and see

as a fellow adhder this is quite interesting because this drama actually had me (and my other nd friends who i was watching with) in a chokehold lol - i haven't been this obsessed with a drama in a while. we thought the pacing was actually extremely well done and nothing felt too long or short; but also watched it on-air so that definitely contributed to it. it might've just not clicked for you
