Finally finished it. I loved the show! A very nice and touching story. All the actors did a great job, MLs crying scene while eating noodles was really touching...and the last scene was FL and ML was shot so well, the camerawork and cinematography! So dreamy.
Had so many ups and downs watching this. Went from rooting for Se dol -> Justin -> Eun Yu/Ji Yeong -> 7high. And after that no one.
I've seen Exchange so was very excited to see Hyungyu but this game ruined his image for me totally. He was rude and controlling and insensitive, all uncalled for. Lying for no reason about his secret game, telling other people to be practical and eliminate competition like Se Dol, and then when it was his turn to be targeted he felt lonely all of a sudden? Don't even get me started on So Hui and Kyuhyun. I'd be embarrassed if I was them.
The winner was deserved, and smart but I didn't feel any satisfaction and skipped most of the episode cause I knew the result. 7high was really cool at the end when he blocked Hyungyu and So Hui, showing them he can't be easily controlled.
can someone explain to me why was it necessary for her to say that she hates him? to his face like that. I understand…
she's unruly and doesn't think much based on what we have seen so far. She gets childish ideas (well she is a child), like running away without him that day and getting caught right away...she doesn't make good decisions.
I dunno, I think JinRui's mom is pretty evil lol. Then again, I guess her toxic, entitled actions also come out…
Yeah, I mean what they're doing is definitely wrong, and I dislike actions of all the parents in this drama tbh, but just like you said, for her and her immediate family she's not evil at all. To fl, she's evil. To us...well it depends on the person who's watching. Haha I'm having so much fun with this drama
Just some haters trying to dampen the greatness of this show. But it won't work for all of us who are so invested. One of the best youth dramas I've seen.
Ah....this show tackles family dynamics so beautifully, I'm a fan! As someone from an Asian family, I understand this all too well. How you love your family even when they're toxic/hurtful. I came to the understanding that our parents were raised like this too, they don't see any issues with how they act, they just think we're kids and keep things from us. They're definitely messing up, but how can we blame them without thinking of their thought process? It's our parents' first life too. No one is 100% evil or good. Many have good intentions but do bad actions just because they think it's right...
Both mom dad actors are doing such a beautiful job acting here!

But well, the Devil wins!
She took the bird with her too, to me it seemed like she got caught accidentally and hated to be back with her family initially. Just my thought!
