Rouxi's curse was she knew everyone's ending. And then she never could be happy with 8th Prince because she knew what would happen to him. If she only overlooked that part, she'd have spent more time with him and maybe never have broken up with him.
4th Prince, she fell in love with, but when he had to act like the emperor she didn't like it. Which I completely get, it can be hard to separate the two things, but what needs to be done should be done. Wish she was as gracious to 4th prince as other people, that she tried to understand him more.
But she's not perfect, and I can't expect her to be perfect. She made mistakes and so did everyone else. I loved the politics more in this version (compared to the korean one), and overall less dramatic stories of other characters.
It feels like you are talking about someone completely opposite to her.
From what I have seen of her, only 2 dramas were romance - nevertheless and soundtrack. Both were different kind of romances though, not the usual 16ep romance drama that's expected (and nevertheless is a totally different story from standard kdramas).
Other dramas like My Name, Gyeongsang Creature & The World Of the Married are not romance centred, Her career doesn't have THAT many dramas yet but from what she has done, she's not simply choosing basic romance kdramas.
but why did they casted same actress for both mother and daughter..? it's not even correct..! how can she romance…
well a daughter can look like her mother..i dont have any issues with the casting. and she didnt really flirt with 2 people at a time, the story was much more complicated than that
Oh 2FL is sooooo pretty and such a good actor! Her role was amazing. I liked how supportive and sisterly both the female leads were. Sometimes, 2FL reminded me of Chiquita from Babymonster (not in terms of looks, but the vibes purely).
What a perfect show! It never got boring. The different personalities and bodies were done perfectly, and the comedy scenes were good too. Just when you start thinking it's a silly drama it hits you with a very nice message. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You don't need a filter, but it's not a bad thing to use it either. Really enjoyable.
I think she's so versatile. She can easily just do romance dramas, but she picks different scripts which contain action. I like how she always tries and shows us new images of her
I think this drama is so genius. The names of each ep is so cool! And the whole concept - FL knows he's not right for her, that he's trouble, NEVERTHELESS she just cannootttt control herself with him. iconic.
People who get disappointed by this drama just need to realise its not a teen romance as the first few eps. It's the life of a girl - a daughter, a lover, a wife, a mother. This drama shows her entire life. I think it's an insult to want it to be a regular romance drama when it holds so much meaning.

The story wasn't that great, nothing spectacular. But LJW was magnificent. All the actions scenes + music were 10/10.
