I feel you, SML is hot & I fell for him too 😂 although I don't root for him with the FL but I liked their story…
OMG! SAME THOUGHTS! I'm like... why isn't he the ML instead??? But I totally understand that he seems to be a good second lead and nailed the character. The ML played by Zhang Wan Yi definitely fits his character well since he's playing a role that seems to be non-imposing and should be discreet. Ci Cha on the other hand will never be able to pull that off since his face itself exudes too much aura to seem like a chameleon.

Me. This feels so wrong but im kinda rooting for him too 😭 he needs therapy tho
He does!!! He just recovered from his blindness how is he ever going to recover from the heartbreak?!? I think that's hardedr to cure. T_T

Why am I rooting for the 2nd lead who is probably also the villain??? Is it just me or someone else feels this way too???? 😆

I was about to say the same thing! I always wonder why there is only news about K-dramas, K-actors, k-prizes,…
People have to volunteer to write contents. It just means there are fewer volunteers who are interested in writing CDrama articles compared to Kdramas. 🥺

The Ajussi crying had me bawling I like that Ajussi so much and I watched nearly all his dramas this is the first…
Oh boy.. i was crying so hard during that scene too!

I wonder what reason they'll come up for Hea Jun's mom for abandoning him. The cdrama had a really good reason but she didn't come back this early in that drama as per the preview.

This is not incest and if u r asking what to do 1st... Then I would suggest you read novel because I found it…
I like the visuals of the Drama and it gives me room to imagine the novel once I get the visuals. The only downside for me if I read the novel first, I tend not to appreciate the Dramas/Movies because of their lack of details from the book. I tend to get spoiled and disappointed. Whereas when i watch the drama, there's still the surprise factor in the novel which wasn't included in the show. So I'm in a dilemma because I want to know the whole story already. lol.

It's such a good underrated drama, I should get more recognition. The actors did a good job and it was the first…
OMG. same thoughts! This drama is so underrated but really good. I wondered why the rating is sooo average :(
On The Rise of Ning Oct 14, 2024
I'm thinking if I should read the novel while the drama is airing or I should just wait hence I'll spoil myself. The story line looks promising except for the incest part which I think isn't? Not sure yet since I'm still in episode 2. This drama reminds me so much of Rise from the Ashes which had a revenge plot for a dysfunctional family. It has this supposedly "incest" part in it. But hello to the plot twist. lol.

Thanks for sharing your insight regarding the OG version and remake version. I am actually planning to check out…
OMG! I was rooting for him too when I watched Go Ahead BUT Seriously he can stand on his own in that drama even if there's no romance involved. You'll understand once you watch it. You'll love his character despite not ending up with the FL. It's the first drama I've seen him in and he was AWESOME in it. I just want to hug him and comfort him the whole fracking time!

So i have watched go ahead and i felt like it was dragged after sometime and the romance part was a bit uncomfortable…
I feel like that the producers of GO AHEAD wanted that kind of feeling for the viewers... since anyone in that situation would seriously feel awkward. It felt like I was part of the family while watching it so having my siblings get on with each other is seriously weird. LOL.

I hate myself right now. The way the watching experience is getting spoiled cause my mind/memories can easily…
IKR??? I was waiting on how they'll handle 2nd brother's storyline as well. I was a bit disappointed that he was shortchanged from the original plot line BUT I like how they handled the change nicely through his aunt instead. SO not really a bad move just a bit short on the emotional level. I was sooooo waiting for the part where he was washing their clothes in the bathroom just so the dad wouldn't kick him out. I was crying on that scene when I realized how emotional that part was and the anxiety the child had to go through for being abandoned and thrown away. T_T

Go Ahead is such a LONG and BRILLIANT drama. I hope the KDRAMA can give justice within 16 episodes. So far though, they are doing great and I hope it last until the final episode.

I like the drama so far. I enjoyed all the personalities and how everyone is supporting each other. I also like…
I think it's hard not to get spoiled no matter which drama you get to watch first. LOL! I would suggest you binge the KDrama then go for the CDrama because it has more depth and details than the KDrama can give. In CDrama the childhood and highschool scenes lasted for a couple of episodes. It has so much details that it felt like I actually grew up with their unconventional family. I'm taken from their elementary days to hs days up to when they were grown ups. It was a really great drama, that making a KDrama adaptation is not a hard choice to do. The characters are lovable and so far the KDrama cast is giving justice to their CDrama counterpart's characters and acting.

i saw the first episode..I am speechless at what his mother can say about the poor boy, how did he kill his sister?…
The original drama it's much sadder because the kids were LOCKED inside the house. So basically he couldn't even call for help to other people. It was horrifying and not his fault. He was just a kid. Parents aren't supposed to leave their kids and lock the door from the outside as if they're in prison. Responsible parents get a babysitter to look after their kids.

I just realized that the mom had a mental illness from the get-go when I watched through a couple more episodes of Go Ahead. It seems like she had a bipolar personality. It's sad when kids are born to parents who lack the mental capacity to care for others.

it's actually so ignorant of people to expect the drama to have the same pace with the original, i can't stress…
I've seen the original and as of the moment I'm okay with the pacing considering that this is only 16 episodes. I would love to have this for 24 episodes if that's possible but I'm taking it as is. Loving the flow of everything so far.

I tried to imagine what he said that made her traumatized, and what made him shocked of his own words and got…
At least he realized he was hateful and crazy... but he should have deleted it right if he felt that but? I'm curious as hell to as to what he wrote!

So I'm guessing Ji Uk was one of the foster kids Hae Yeong's mom had during that first episode when they brought home a young boy. It feels like that would be him.

BTW Is this drama adapted from a webtoon? I'm trying to look it up but not getting any hits. Also not mentioned here, but it feels like this is from a webtoon.

Title Story of Kunning Palace Spoiler
there's happy ending for them both
By happy ending do they both live in the end? Lol. I'm traumatized by other's people definition of happy ending when they think dying and being reincarnated in the next life is a happy ending. Not my kind of happy ending for sure.
