I haven't seen the anime, but so far I'm liking it and binged watched 6 episodes. I'll most likely watch the anime after this to satisfy my curiosity on everyone's back story.

I haven't seen the anime or read the manga, so far though this drama caught me off guard and made me binge watch 6 episodes in one go. But to think this is only 8 episodes... I'm suspecting they're planning for a season 2. These are great actors btw and the storyline is pretty good.

I'm watching Family by choice, took this drama in because I needed something heartwarming to watch while waiting until next week, can't believe I finished 6 episodes in 1 day. Best decision I've ever done this week though. This is such a wonderful drama I hope more people can watch this.

I suggest you check out Dear Hyeri while waiting, it's about mental health though and a bit of a heavy load to watch but also another gem.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE HATE EITHER. I'm at episode 4 so far and wouldn't have stopped if I just didn't need to work or sleep.

Oh.. I just saw they finally updated the synopsis translation and this one is more comprehensible than the first. I really didn't get what the synopsis was about the first time it was posted. lol.

I'm still confused. So the synopsis is saying that the ML and the Actress in his movie are both terminally ill? Coz to my understanding only the Actress is only one who's terminal. The synopsis translation is pretty bad. lol.

Is it just me or the synopsis doesn't really make sense?

I'm in chapter 174, and almost about to finish! What about you? The novel/drama story has minimal similarities if you ask me. The drama did sort of follow the plot line but still VERY different. Also the AGE differences of the characters, I just can't imagine it in the drama. I can't even imagine Yining as Ren Mi and Shen Yuan as Zhang Wan Yi when I read the novel because the description is so different. What they got spot on though was Lu Jia Xue as Ci Sha. When I read the Novel, his face just pops up in my head... middle-aged, handsome and yet ruthless. For some reason, the guy got hold of my head. lol.

I started reading the novel because I just can't wait anymore. LOL! FYI, for those who want to read the novel, it's an entirely different story compared to the drama. We all know the gist of everything, but the details have a HUGE difference. So reading the novel while watching the drama isn't a spoiler at all. It makes it enjoyable for me actually.

This is actually one of the plot holes. Though to my understanding they hunted her or someone had directed to hunt her because she left the fold, and went on to try to become a normal human. But that's still a plot hole because we don't know who the real mastermind is. It wasn't mentioned and wasn't explained properly.

ANOTHER mini series that I really really liked!!! I wish this show had a regular screen time and wasn't just made into a mini because it had a great story line, actors and OST. More details about the show would have been great to watch.

No wonder this couple has so much Cameo in Butterflied Lover. I LOLed at them. Will surely check this out.

I really couldn't think much for LYN's perspective according to the current episode we have, because:
1 - Her main problem is her psycho ex who's currently obsessed with her but she's still safe within the protection of the Lou household.
2 - Currently she thinks of LSY as a biological brother, so loving him as a man is out of the question which isn't exactly a problem. YET. Maybe we'll get to this tonight after LSY hugs her? LOL.

I'm really excited about the revelation and how things will turn out. I'm also trying to stop myself from reading the novel as the drama progresses because I'm a fast reader and I'm sure I'll finish the novel before finishing the drama. I really don't want to get spoiled big time. T_T

I love the flashbacks too! It gives us an idea how much LJX loved LYN hence the obsession to finding her and you know.. ruining the people who tried to kill her. It's just sad that they're not the end game despite him running around to get her back.

LSY on the other hand... man I hate to be him. The brother who can't tell LYN that they're not actually biological siblings and that he's head over heels in love with her. I'm curious about the transition btw, on how they'll progress from siblings to lovers. This is usually awkward specially when one of the party has no idea at all and has been treating them as blood relative from the get go.

Where did you read the novel??? Is it in english translation? If I were him, I'd be as obsesses as well. To fall in love with a woman he's never seen but felt her sincerity is way over his character. He'll lose his mind if she was truly dead.

This is on point. I love their flashback snippets as if they were really meant for each other. I want to know more about their past but since they're not meant to be I'll have to be satisfied to what's offered T_T
