The first time i saw him was back in 2021 in the bl series "light on me". In that role, cz of the character he…
I remember seeing Lee Jae Wook as a minor role in Memories of Alhambra and thought "This guy would definitely make it in the industry" and he did and I'm so freaking proud of him. Same with Kang Yoo Seok, he's got so many roles under his belt but is always side-casted. I'm so happy for him that he landed 2 major breaks this year. He deserves it.
Totally agree ! The novel’s hella 18+ and wild, but this drama made him more human—less beast . And our girl?…
I cannot agree even more!!!! I was wondering the whole time how they're going to tame ML and his carnal desires. Lol!!! For all novel readers, we knew how those explicit scenes happened. 🤭😆
Finally seeing LY again and he aint gonna die this time around!!!! So excited for this drama even though it is waaaaay different from the novel, I'm still happy to watch it as it is.
I watched this for Lee Jae Wook... and this is the first time I had a hard case of jealousy with the FL. I didn't even feel that in The Impossible Heir (the FL was Meh) or in Alchemy of Soul (was rooting for the FL there), but here Jo Bo Ah really didn't cut it for me. I have nothing against her as an actress, she's pretty good in my opinion, but man, the way she gobbled up LJW here in this drama, I just can't, I'm full of jealousy!!! T_T
Setting that aside, I'm rating this eight because the actors were awesome. From the main leads to the support, up to the villain. I have nothing else to say about that, but the plot just left me hanging out there. The whole 11-episode series was so for Hong Rang, and I felt cheated knowing exactly what happened and where he was. I wonder how Jae Yi felt for 12 years. Anyways, the story just fell short for me, but the execution and cinematography were awesome. I wish they had just cut it short to 8 episodes.
It took awhile for me to check this out as I still waited for the eng sub. Finally, got the chance to see this…
I actually stayed away from this because of the poster. I thought it was in the mature genre, but then I saw the trailer and the fluff. Threw my hat and watched it. lol
what was the message here? i think the story was not to be complacent. the make up side felt...shallow. idk how…
surprisingly I felt this. lol. I enjoyed the drama over but the ending left me somewhat... empty about life? I like the romance but the life lessons are more like.. huh? And the new company... that's surprisingly something you don't see in real life, or maybe that's just me?
Yiyeong and Dowon's relationship dynamic is truly healing. Their scenes and interactions fill me with warmth,…
I love that too.. I just didn't expect a third wheel this late into the drama and nonetheless an anesthesiologist. It made perfect sense though as she's almost practically part of the anesthesia family by calling them all the time. Lol. I see the connection but I wonder how this will be a catalyst to Y and D's relationship. Will it make D back off real quick or will it give him the push to move forward and start something with Y instead?
I'm currently at episode 4 and had no idea that this drama had a dark side. I didn't know that when they meant this drama was more mature, I had no idea that the character had a dark past. I was ready to watch something fluffy and ended up gritting my teeth through watching the FL get pushed around and sexually harassed by misogynist men who deserve to live in a pigsty. What pisses me off more is that she's not able to help herself and had to be helped by someone else. I feel sad because she's all helpless in this and because this actually happens in real life. I was not ready to watch something dark and gloomy, but now I'm hooked on the fact that Sang Yan is such a wonderful character despite being all tsundere. Now I totally understand why Victor Ma does not suit the ML role, he's best to be portrayed as Sang Zhi's bubbly brother in Hidden Love while Bai Jing Ting is definitely meant to be Sang Yan for First Frost.
i had the same thought at first tbh, but, since this drama is an S+ drama, they needed more experienced and popular…
I was looking for the book too because I read some comments that Sang Yan is pretty mature in First Frost novel compared to his character in Hidden Love. I really wanted to see Victor Ma in that kind of role and how he might have pulled it off. But I guess that will never happen. I am still looking forward to watching this and reading the book after.
I sort of still can't get over the fact that we don't get the guy from the drama hidden love to act as the main guy here. That would have been a great parallel story to their world and the author's work. :(
and for god sakes can the ML mother shut up! She also has no reasons to hate the FL, you can talk to her dad perfectly…
I think this shows just how complex a person's emotion can be. In all honesty she doesn't hate her father, she hates herself and she just couldn't explain it because she lost her memories. She ended up blaming her father for how she felt all these years. It's called transference which is some kind of defense mechanism to keep a person in control of their emotions. In short doing that keeps them sane. This is what Kang Hee has been doing almost all her life.
Gonna wait until ep11 to make any conclusions about the car accident. It can’t be Kanghee’s fault right..…
I'm hoping about the same thing too!!! That doll stuck there would have been quickly noticed since the engine wouldn't work properly from the get go and wouldn't have run quite a distance yet.
But anyways ep10 was a bomb dropped to us. This seriously reminded me of the drama WHEN THE WEATHER IS FINE. They also dropped bombs on the last 3 epsisodes leaving us all hollowed inside and making it from the draggiest drama I've seen to redeeming itself as one of the best build up in my drama history.
I had high hopes for this drama and I really tried to keep up with episodes but I just can’t. My eyes are hurting…
What episode are you at? I was wondering why she had so much baggage and issues too because of rumours but then ep10 answered everything. Now I wonder how they will wrap it up in 2 episodes.
